The accommodations were what I expected for a 2 star hotel, except for the smell that met me when I walked in and continued in my room. It smelled like incense to me and I get headache from incense. Thankfully, I didn’t get a headache and it was only one night.
Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was decent.

The breakfast options seem to be all the same each day and egg patties were mushy. It was not obvious that there was breakfast located on both sides of the hotel as well.

The bathroom/shower was good. TV channel selection was very good. Ac/Heat worked well
Cramped, Very small trash cans. No drawers for storage.
Available Breakfast was very subpar on the TRU side and the Home2 side.

Pool wasn’t working. They were trying to fix the filter pump so we couldn’t swim.
Didn’t get to stay
We liked the convenience of the location. It was clean and the breakfast was good.
We stayed from Sunday until Thursday. We usually don't mind if there's no housekeeping..even though it says there will be on a sign in the bathroom. No worries. However, we asked on Wednesday, on our way out at 1030 a.m., if we could have our room refreshed. I stopped at the front desk, the person wrote down our room number..and I said it 3 times. I said clean towels, empty trash and make the bed. We came back at 545p.m. and it hadn't been touched. I had to go back down and get towels and trash bags..and put our towels and trash in the hallway. She asked if we wanted it done Thursday and I said no...we leave on Friday a.m. I guess I expected when I specifically asked for a quick refresh, they might have done it.
The staff was friendly
The room looked more like a hospital room. No dresser, no closet, no curtains, no carpet, no ice bucket.
Very sterile
Loved that there was no carpeting in the room! Room and grounds were very clean. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
