Excellent for short, one night stay to enjoy a rest with breakfast.
Pros:

Free parking, 24 hours checking…
In the morning I had to leave before breakfast which is included in price and when I was checking out the staff offered me to make myself at least some sandwiches for journey before the breakfast even started!

Cons:

First time I saw such narrow, slim door to toilet 😀 I fitted in but some heavier people could have problems.

Unattended & Unsecure Entry

Arrived at 4:00 PM to find the property completely unattended with open access directly off a busy main road and bus stop. Name-labeled envelopes containing room keys were left sitting unattended in wooden rack in the reception area for anyone to take, posing a major privacy and security risk.

​Subpar Room & Facilities

The room itself was sparse, run-down, and in dire need of refurbishment. The toilet was squeezed into a cupboard-sized closet, and the adjacent wet room shower was barely any larger.

​Safety Concerns

The overall experience felt unsafe and uncomfortable, heightened by unvetted individuals loitering in the entrance and stairwells when I left. Since the building is entirely unmonitored, there is no way to tell guests apart from trespassers.

​Misleading Listing

The photos on Booking.com do not accurately reflect the actual condition or atmosphere of the property. While I understand this is a budget option, "cheap" should not mean cheap and nasty and compromised safety.

​Verdict

I left within minutes, forfeited the cancellation fee, and booked a secure hotel nearby—money well spent. As a frequent traveler across Europe who regularly uses budget accommodations, this was easily the worst property I have encountered. Highly advise looking elsewhere.

Entspannte Übernachtung mit sehr gutem Frühstück nahe am Ruhr-Radweg
Pros:

Großer Fahrradabstellraum - einfaches und sauberes Zimmer - sehr gutes Frühstück mit leckerem Kaffee aus guter Kaffeemaschine - große Auswahl - Selbstbedienung - freundlich eingerichteter Frühstücksraum.

Cons:

Der Check-In war gleichzeitig einfach und kompliziert . Um den Schlüssel für Zimmer und Fahrradraum zu finden mußte ich suchen und anrufen ( eine kurze Benachrichtigungs-email wäre mir hilfreich gewesen / oder ein Schlüsseltresor mit Code, aber am Telefon wurde mir prompt und freundlich weiter geholfen ).

Das Frühstück war überraschend gut, tatsächlich habe ich es.gut gefunden, mir z. B. mein Frühstücksei selbst braten zu dürfen.

Cons:

Mein Zimmer war sauber aber sehr eng. Ich blieb mit meiner Jacke und Rucksack im Zimmerflur an den Türklinken hängen...

Kleines Hotel mit gutem Frühstück im Zentrom von Menden. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Als Zwischenstop für Radfahrer zu empfehlen.

Pros:

Sehr sauberes Zimmer, keine störenden Gerüche. Das Gebäude ist zwar in die Jahre gekommen, trotzdem sauber gehalten. Frühstück war ausreichend zur Auswahl. Sehr gute Alternative, dass man sich sein Spiegelei selbst zubereiten kann, ohne lange auf das Personal warten zu müssen. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Gutes Frühstück mit einem guten Angebot, bemerkenswert, dass man die Eier selbst braten musste.
Fahrradunterstellmöglichkeit was klasse

ok, wir würden das Hotel aber nicht wieder buchen
Pros:

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis halbwegs ok, Parkplatz vor dem Hotel.

Cons:

Einfache Zimmer, Frühstück: war im Vergleich zu den anderen Hotels auf unserer Reise sehr einfach, Joghurt im Plastikeimer, Wurst auf kleinen Tellerchen je zwei Scheiben mit Klarsichtfolie verpackt, Aufbacksemmeln, kein süßes Gebäck.
