Cons:

Booked this room online the day before and called to ask about something and was told they will not rent to me because I’m a local resident. Initially I was told I would be charged for a stay they didn’t intend to allow. After being placed on hold for sometime, was told the charge would be removed. Then the next day I check my account and there was an additional $50 charge from them as well as the room charge still pending. Called back spoke with the same lovely lady Lauren, who apologized and explained that they had trouble removing the charges but I would in fact not be charged but she couldn’t tell me how long it will take to get the charges dropped…. Now I wait for my $200 for a room rate of $129 to be refunded to me because our local hotels suck in Amarillo Texas.

Pros:

Soft uncomfortable bed, sticky dirty hard surface flooring, thin walls to hear neighbors talk and plumbing flushes. . Skip this place. The only plus was friendly staff but that doesn’t make up for the deficits.

Pros:

Extremely disruptive unattended children from 11:30 pm-2:00am. Running/screaming/slamming doors. Front desk did nothing to manage the problem. Parents eventually arrived drunk

Overall stay
Pros:

Ice should be on every level. Housekeepers need to check the alarms in the rooms. Mine went off at 6:00 am but not because I set it. Only one operating elevator.

Nice staff but amenities were below par

- Desk in room had food particles all over it left from a previous stay
- The refrigerator did not work
- Paid extra for breakfast and there was a) no plates so used a saucer plate for food
- There was no bacon or any other meats available and none ever showed up

Pros:

The staff were all friendly, warm and welcoming. My son who was there shipping out to Navy boot camp was thanked for his service by two members and he really appreciated that.

Cons:

I didn’t really dislike anything but I would have paid extra for access to a hot tub.
