Für eine Nacht ok.
Pros:

Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr vielseitig und lecker.

Cons:

Parkplatz ist sehr klein und eng, Ladesäule für E Auto ist zwar vorhanden aber ausgebaut. € 8 für diesen Parkplatz ist nicht gerechtfertigt.
Im Zimmer ist kein Tresor vorhanden.

Erstes Haus am Platz. Sehr schönes Ambiente . Freundliches Personal.
Leider ist die Rezeption am Abend nicht mehr besetzt und auch das Restaurant schon früh geschlossen.
Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Die Lage ist ideal, da sehr zentral

Cons:

Das ganze Haus ist sehr dunkel. Besonders im Zimmer hat uns das Licht gefehlt. Das licht im Flur ist am 2ten Tag dann ganz ausgefallen. Im Zimmer war es sehr stickig, so dass das Fenster permanent offen sein musste.
Die Betten waren unbequem. Durch die Form des Rückenteils war ein bequemes Sitzen im Bett nicht schmerzfrei möglich. Der Fernseher stand auf dem Schreibtisch. So konnte der Schreibtisch nicht genutzt werden und ein bequemes Fernsehen vom Bett aus war nicht möglich.
Die Tapete war in einer Ecke gerissen.
Der Mülleimer wurde nicht geleert.
Das Wasser in der Dusche floss schlecht ab.

Tolles Hotel mit historischem Charakter.
Pros:

Die Zimmer sind toll geworden und die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett! Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich.

Cons:

Der Parkplatz ist nicht optimal.

Ein in die Jahre gekommenes, aber noch immer schönes historisches Hotel
Pros:

Der Sächsische Hof liegt perfekt, wenn man das Meiningen Theater besuchen will. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und vermutlich kurz nach der Wende im Stil eines alten Grandhotels eingerichtet worden. Das Personal kümmert sich sehr persönlich.

Cons:

Vermutlich war der Sächsische Hof vor 1945 ein echtes Luxushotel. Die Sanierung der Nachwendezeit ist schon eine ganze Weile her und überall zeigen sich Nutzungsspuren. Das herzliche Personal und der Charme lassen aber darüber hinwegsehen - mich zumindest.

Schönes Hotel, mit toller Lage und freundlichem Personal.

Tolle Lage, schönes und historisches Hotel, gutes Frühstück, netter Empfang.

Cons:

Das Bad war nicht auf dem Stand der Zeit, mit einer Dusch-Badewanne und Duschvorhang.
