Good Stay! Metropolis Parking info
Pros:

Overall this is a pretty great hotel: the location is "on point" (lots of restaurants, Publix & Starbucks are within walking distance; close enough to Broadway to enjoy those things but removed to also enjoy the peace & quiet too); the hotel overall is pretty quiet, well maintained & clean; the staff is super friendly and helpful; and the breakfast buffet offers a lot of variation day to day-- there should be something for everyone.

My only feedback has to do with the beds/pillows (mattress was extremely hard; pillows could use 'restuffing'); the room HVAC (no way to cool it down despite trying over several days and did note that heat was coming from the fan at some point around midnight one night for a short time). This was not isolated to just me but everyone in our party had the same issue with the beds and in room climate control.

Parking: I realize this is outside of the control of the hotel but sharing in case it helps others. The signs located in the parking garage itself prompt you to use Metropolis and runs about $50/day. A couple of things to know: (1): it may be difficult to get a receipt to print out for reimbursement using this app as it's sent via text. (2): if you log on to the Metropolis app, the payment will be $0 yet your 'receipt' (provided via text message) will show what you actually paid-- it can be confusing to know definitively if you've been charged or not. The receipt that was sent via text is what you will be charged.

Be sure to share when checking in IF you've already paid for parking using Metropolis or not-- otherwise you may run the risk of being double-charged (by Metropolis and the hotel). I can't see where the hotel would charge more or less than Metropolis but I can see where it would be much easier if all charges were on the hotel receipt (especially for reimbursement).

average hotel - parking garage confusing
Pros:

The hotel was large and nice. Lobby clean and pretty. Rooftop bar was good. Rooms were clean and spacious. Bathroom had a large vanity and mirror. Halls and outside noise was at a very minimum. Breakfast was typical of a Hampton Inn and the seating area was comfortable with good music playing. Parking was confusing. We parked in the attached garage. My car was scanned by metropolis parking upon entering the garage. Then scanned again when exiting the garage. I had read the parking was confusing and not to scan the parking garage QR codes so I didn't. But I assume since I have been a previous customer of the parking company at other facilities they had my information and charged the credit card I had on file. I asked the hotel desk attendant about parking charges since I received a text upon entering the garage from the parking company and she said it would be handled when I check out. It wasn't. I was charged $85 when I exited the garage the next day.

My second time there
Pros:

I love the location. The building is always clean.

Cons:

Well I have a couple things. The food in the breakfast warmers isn't hot enough. I caught an employee parking in a handicap spot. Not the one that has a handicap plate. This lady drives an orange car. I checked for a plate or hang tag. They don't have many handicap spots. Don't take one instead of walking another 40 feet. I am a stroke victim so I watch these things. I had to walk that extra 40 feet a couple of times. I have pictures of her plate and car and how close she parks to the door.

A great base for Nashville sights
Pros:

I stayed at the hotel on a road trip from New York to Dallas to watch England in the World Cup. The hotel is modern and very clean with friendly staff. The happy hour for the rooftop pool/bar was great value with $5 for a draft beer. Very friendly service there too. Parking is close and I walked downtown/Broadway and back and felt very safe. Music scene is excellent of course.
