Pros:

Breakfast was good. Location is great. Walking distance to a lot of outdoor activities and restaurants.

Cons:

The parking fee is a little steep. $40/day! It adds up.

I'd rather have spent a little more and received better service and a cleaner environment.
Pros:

The location and price was great. Its located on a great street with good food and not far at all from the water. Also if you were going to a game, im sure you'd love it.

Cons:

My first interaction with staff was not good. They must have been busy or understaffed or stressed but they were extremely short with me, explained nothing about the hotel or amenities like breakfast or check out, and handed me my card without even telling me my room number. The only words were "what do you need?" And "I need a card for incidentals."
The floors were covered in bits of garbage in the elevator and on the 4th floor.
Room was clean but the pillows were real bad. I know they can't make it perfect for everyone but when you put your head on these pillows you literally were laying on the mattress.
I understand I could have asked for things but after the initial interaction, I didn't want to ask staff anything.

Overall great experience
Pros:

I loved everything . Breakfast was amazing and delicious. I loved that the hotel keeps us safe by having a key card to get to each level. We weren't able to get in the pool but it looked really cute. Everyone that worked there was really nice. The best of it was the walk in shower.

Cons:

It would have been nice to be able to park our own cars if we wanted to. And the price 40 dollars a day was a little too much we decided to have family members take us down to st.pete from Tampa because the parking was just a little pricey.

Awesome hotel, staff and location
Pros:

The Hotel valet team was amazing during our stay at Tru by Hilton. A big shout out to Zack A. (Valet worker) who was truly a pleasure to deal with. We have stayed at many Hilton hotels and this one by far was our favorite. Very clean, awesome staff, great breakfast and it was in a great location. We will definitely come back and give it the highest rating possible!
