has no pool, the lagoon in front was an alternative but it was closed during our stay and we weren’t notified of the closer. it was advertised on their website but due to booking this place months in advance we had no need to go onto the website as everything regarding our stay was communicated to us through email or phone call. We would have appreciated being emailed or spoken to prior to the lagoon closure so we could book a different stay as the weather was really hot during our holiday so we needed a pool. we also wished the rooms came with atleast a microwave or something as we found we had to eat out for almost every single meal because we couldn’t cook or make anything

Great location but avoid 4th floor if you want to sleep early.
Pros:

Superb location, proximity to restaurants and activities. View from seafront rooms. On site restaurant and across road from lagoon for swimming. Good for bird and bat watching and a short walk to the ferry terminal.

Cons:

Unfortunately due to a week long celebration of Cairns, there was loud music outside each night we were there. Also, being on the fourth floor meant we heard every chair scrape from the restaurant above, particularly annoying at breakfast and dinner times. No housekeeping but could get supplies from friendly reception staff.

Great location, staff and facilities.
Pros:

Rooms were modern, clean and very comfortable, the air con was incredible and we got cold on 24!! even though we had a room with a connecting door we couldn't hear a single thing from our neighbours! We were there for our 1 year wedding anniversary and the staff that checked us in made a point to wish us so and left us treats in our room as well as a bottle of wine. The rooftop restaurant is also a must visit, the views are fantastic, the drinks are delicious and the service from the staff another 10/10.

Cons:

The pillows were not the best, definitely need some updating.
