it was alright for a couple of nights
Pros:

comfy bed, big room with kitchen, launderette

Cons:

slow wifi
microwave not working
no utensils in the kitchenette, not even disposable.
noise coming from parking lot

The staff was nice.

Cons:

Roach infested. When we first arrived there were dead roaches under the bed, in the bathroom and near the little kitchen. I asked if they could spray because they do not give refunds. Nobody sprayed the following day. The area is not the best. Convenience stores and interstate is close by so there is some convenience to that but people like to hang around the property, drinking and smoking. Not saying it’s not safe but it definitely looked like after hours after the club where people like to take the party to the parking lot.

Terrible
Pros:

Nothing. Found 3 cockroaches in my room. Asked to be reimbursed for my stay, asked to speak to a manager and the staff would not even give me the name

Cons:

Very low quality. Very unprofessional. I did not have toilet paper for the majority of my work week.

Pros:

I liked the large room and the fact that there was a kitchenette in the room with cooktop, regular sized fridge, etc

Cons:

I understand the cleaning aspect as well as possible loss, but it would be nice to have items like a pot and pan with a lid along with a spatula in the room, or available to use.

Extremely disappointing experience — poor customer service

I had a paid reservation at WoodSpring Suites Charlotte - University Research Park. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk receptionist was extremely disappointing.

I politely asked to use the restroom, but I was met with a rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming response. The way I was treated made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe, and I no longer felt confident staying at the hotel. Because of this interaction, I made the decision not to proceed with my stay despite having already paid.

A hotel’s staff represents the entire establishment. Even when a request cannot be accommodated due to policy, guests and customers should be treated with respect, professionalism, and basic courtesy.

I hope management takes this matter seriously, reviews the conduct of the staff involved, and takes steps to ensure other guests do not experience the same treatment.
