Everything
Miss Sabrina at the front desk was excellent and very friendly in helping me with my request. Excellent customer service
Everything has been great the new Gm is going a lot improvements Also Sabrina and Larry are the best good customers and handles the issues with great attitude. No problems with the room.
My stay here has been nothing short of amazing. Sabrina at the front desk is always helpful and polite. Timothy the new manager has also really turned things around. 10 out of 10 stay for me!
The staff was awesome
The elevator wasn't working at some point
I've stayed here for several months and experienced repeated issues that are never meaningfully addressed. The elevator is frequently out of service, basic amenities like towels are often unavailable, and both side entrance doors have ongoing security and maintenance problems.
What frustrates me most is the lack of follow-through after repeatedly reporting these concerns. Long-term guests deserve functioning amenities, secure facilities, and honest communication. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.
I have never met a better extended stay staff than this one (and I travel a good bit) especially Sabrina. Sabrina is everybody’s favorite, they are very lucky to have her. She’s so humble that I approached her first because I saw so many good reviews about her. She’s all that they said she was and then some.
I like how clean this hotel is and the location is good. I feel safe and happy enough to stick around. They need to work on their WiFi and Ethernet, that’s my only detractor. I need a good internet connection for work and school. If you’re in town for business, their internet could be a problem but I’ll definitely stay here when I’m in town to visit family. This staff has a special connection with folks that stay here, every single employee I’ve met has been a 10 out of 10.
WoodSpring's suites in university area; has had their struggles with staff and management. in which there was several times I had charges on my credit card that wasn't authorized. The previous management (2024-2025) Sara relied on; in my opinion of the staff or the assistant director to address concerns evidence by not meeting with me as I requested to resolve the issues. This led to the situation not being resolved; so, after three months plus I had to paid it in order to remain in my unit. This extra expense defiantly was a strain as I was already paying almost $600 weekly. The property struggled especially when it comes to cleanliness. I have reported roaches in my unit everywhere crawling out to the sockets; as well as mold in the air conditioner. (I have pictures available if requested) Trash in the hallways; stairwells stink bad. It was a struggle to receive clean lining; under the management (2024-2025) when I asked I was told long term guest are not eligible per management. There so many issues with the elevators it is breaking down at least eight times or more a month. The laundry room is a plus, but the dryers don't dry and the washers are horrible, so I elect to not feed into the money pit; so; I wash outside of the facility. Within the past two weeks; I have seen as genuine care for the facility to function properly evidence by visually seeing the outside agencies i.e. elevator tech, washer and dryer tech at the facility. The new Manager has been working hard to address concerns evidence by asking questions to the residence and he follows up to ensure the issues are addressed. I've witnessed the support he provides his team. It appears the hotel is on the right track. Hardships are a part of life; but when you are not treated well or felt disrespect it not good feeling evidence by the person who replaced the Manager Sara; stated you must like it here you've been here so long as she took my weekly payment for the week. No one that I know of choose to be without shelter. To not be treat like a human being shouldn't be a choice should be expected to be treated with courtesy and respect. I would give anther review after I find housing and leave Woodspring’s Suites at University.
Having the kitchen to cook in
The location was awful, while waiting for the staff to unlock the doors for check-in, two cops surrounded my car like I was a criminal! The staff was not friendly at all, they were rude.
