Great value for a spacious room
Pros:

It was in a quiet residential pocket nestled in one of the busiest areas of Tokyo. There was also a small playground nearby, great for our small kids. The room was spacious enough for our family of four, compared to other options in Tokyo it was a great deal for the space. All the amenities were great and in pristine condition. Bathroom was nice and big with a big bathtub.

Cons:

Like most hotels in Asia, you could hear people upstairs moving about. The dryer also never completely dried our clothes.

Great, would be amazing with quiet neighbours
Pros:

Great location if you intend to stay in Ueno in general. Clean rooms, very spacious. Included microwave, cooking stove, etc are all very welcome.

Cons:

Unfortunately the doors let through a lot of noise from the hallways, and the rooms themselves are not very well sound insulated.

My last night the upstair neighbours were just walking around, but it sounded like the beat of a drum everytime. Could not sleep until past midnight because of it.

We enjoyed our stay at MONday Shinokachimachi in Ueno
Pros:

Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are exceptional in that they are very spacious and comfortable. We loved having our own washing/dryer machine in the room. So convenient for our long stay!

Cons:

The property is nice and clean. However, the lobby is extremely small and traveling with a bunch of our friends, it would have been nice to have a larger space (indoors) to accommodate our group. Also, although the washing machine was convenient to have, it took a very long time to wash a load of laundry.
