I've stayed in many hotels globally and this ranks among one of my favorites. Ryan at the front desk truly understands the meaning of service and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. His level of hospitality was not equally resonated among his peers but overall everyone was accommodating. The room was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds. The restaurant has some of the best breakfast items we have had in a very long time with attentive wait staff. My only negatives about this hotel would be the noise level being located next to a night club which is open on Thursday through Sunday and the high parking prices. Thank you Ryan for elevating our experience and making us feel like valued customers.
I have stayed at this property several times and always had a very positive experience. Again my stay on July 12 was another good experience. Except I participated in the Kimpton Social password promotion and have never recieved the 5000 points I supposedly won by picking this record album from this box. After not recieving the points, I contacted the hotel and they said my points would be issued within 2 weeks. They still did not come. What had been a fun experience and stay ended up being soured by the hotel's inability to deliver what was promised and it leaves me with an overall negative feeling about the hotel.

Happy Hour was an unexpected bonus. The gentleman out the front were always so kind.
I was charged a "Guest Amenity fee" which was clearly included in my original booking charges and the receptionist agreed it had been charged. Apparently booking.com didn't charge the tax in the original transaction so I had to pay the complete fee again and chase booking.com for the refund. $58.66 Amercian dollars extra as the receptionist couldn't work out how to just charge me the $9 tax owing. ☹️

The hotel's location is in an area with a special vibe of black music.
The nights are very noisy. Because of all kinds of music and also because of a train that passes by with a lot of creaking noises all night.
In addition, the jem is very basic.
And There is no comfortable place to sit and work on a laptop.
My husband and I booked a suite on the 4th floor. The ear plugs on the nightstand should have been our first clue about the noise level. The nightclub across the street played loud thumping music until about 2 a.m. To make maters worse, the hotel was hosting a fashion show during the day on Saturday. The music was so loud when we were trying to nap (having gotten little sleep during the night due to loud music) that it was impossible. The manager told us the hotel was “in the entertainment district’ as if that justified the outrageously loud music in the middle of the day. We had the TV volume turned up to 40 just to hear the dialogue. It was absurd and management’s response (essentially, “too bad”) guarantees we will never visit this hotel again.
After a couple of good stays in Kimptons in Edinburgh and Budapest I decided to give the Dallas one a try and I wasn’t disappointed.
They are free nibbles and drinks in reception which was a nice touch.
Breakfast was good , albeit a bit slow when it’s really full.
We also ate in the evening there which was good.
The ground pool area was a welcome break in the 30c heat.
Defo recommend!

Das Hotel ist sehr schön. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, das Bett sehr bequem und alles war sauber. Die Dusche war riesig und sehr guter Wasserdruck. TOP. Die Lage war auch toll, Deep Ellum Partymeile in der Nähe 2 Minuten. Im Hotelzimmer habe ich nichts gehört. Die Bahn ist 2 Minuten Fußweg entfernt und man kommt direkt ins Zentrum von Dallas. Die Bahn hört man etwas, dafür bekommt man Ohrstöpsel.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Würde wieder buchen.
Frühstück a la carte. Kaffee war nicht gut bzw. gar nicht nach unserem Geschmack. Ich habe dann wegen Hungergefühle differenziert bestellt, wie zum Beispiel getoastetes Brot mit überbackenem Käse, Croissant, Saft etc. extra extra. Stand so nicht in der Karte. Wurde auch netterweise alles so gebracht, wie von mir gewünscht. Fühlte sich meinerseits nach Prinzessinnen Extrawünsche an und man muss bei Buchung inklusive Frühstück beachten, dass TIP zusätzlich berechnet wird.

Sehr schönes und modernes Hotel in guter Lage nahe Stadtzentrum und deep ellum. Super Zimmer, feine Betten und schöne Badezimmer.
Frühstück hat teils sehr lange gedauert, kein buffet sondern serviert.
Heel vriendelijk personaal, kamers zijn schoon (al was de muur wel iets beschadigd), goed bereikbaar met trein.
Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. En helaas ook hier weer niet transparante kosten bij het uitchecken van een resort fee van 25 dollar per nacht. Dit soort kosten horen in de prijs te zitten, maar de zogenaamde resort fee is in Amerika een extra verdienmodel geworden met als reden dat dit is voor ‘voorzieningen’ die je dus verplicht moet betalen. Wij waren 3000 euro kwijt voor 5 nachten voor een kamer, dan hoort dit niet.
