A nice stay!
Pros:

The location was great, very central for restaurants, bars and the boardwalk.
The staff were all very friendly.
The room had a good view, and was quiet.
The attached venues were nice (Whiskey & Wine, Boardwalk Social).

Cons:

The smart TV would frequently disconnect mid-stream.
The elevators could be quite slow to arrive and would often not detect the key-card.
It was a bit of a pain having to go down to level 1 via the elevator to refill on water.
The pools were fine enough but didn't love the visibility to the public through the glass wall/floor.

Wonderful Staff
Pros:

Staff were absolutely lovely to deal with. Very helpful with directions and information and just so cheerful.

Cons:

Would have liked little coffee and sugar satchets in room. Supplies provided were great for people not fussy about how they drink coffee but I have really really really weak coffee.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Cici from Reservations was especially kind and helpful. As we were staying for my son’s birthday, the hotel surprised him with a balloon and a small bag of lollies and wished him a happy birthday, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. We really appreciated the warm welcome.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the beds were very uncomfortable. I contacted the hotel about our bed, but housekeeping only attended on the fourth day and simply flipped the mattress, which did not improve it. Before our arrival, I had specifically requested that my son’s sofa bed be replaced with a proper single bed, and the hotel confirmed by email that an extra bed would be provided at no additional cost. However, when we arrived, no extra bed had been added and he still had to sleep on the sofa bed. The topper was very thin, old and uncomfortable, although it was covered with clean sheets. This was disappointing, especially as the request had been confirmed in advance.
