Right from arrival to departure, the staff were exceptional. Friendly, chatty, and knowledgeable. My room was clean with a good view and quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel.
I did get confused with the stairs leading to different levels. However, this was my only problem.
The location was perfect. The cleaning staff were very helpful and friendly.
The pillows were awful, tiny room, air-conditioning was difficult to control. The towels were thin, maybe this is an advantage in a hot, humid climate? Fridge was so full of mini bar things we couldn't fit a bottle of orange juice in it. Lack of tea/coffee selection.

The view
Rooms smelt damp, no toilet brush, barcodes to order drinks don’t work and don’t have all drinks, ran out of drinks there was no notification, doesn’t take much to put a sign saying you have ran out, food average at best, the reception being on a total different floor and having to go up and down to get from one side of the hotel to the other
Staff were very helpful and friendly, they changed our room because there was a funny smell in the first one.
The Italian restaurant connected to the hotel wasn’t open on the night of the Ironman event, instead we had to eat at the Boardwalk Social, which was so noisy you couldn’t hear the person next to you. They also ran out of pizzas so we had to choose more expensive food. Very disappointed with this. We also found out we paid over $100.00 more for an identical room than friends of ours staying on the same night.

Room too small. If I were to stay 3 or 4 nights would require a larger room. Hot Breakfast was not hot. Luke warm at best..
Close to restaurants, the lagoon and shops. Clean, nice strong shower, comfortable bed, quality linen. Staff were helpful and friendly, cleaning staff were helpful and friendly.
Expensive for what was provided. I would have hoped for a microwave and some kitchen implements instead of a few teabags, coffee pods and some long life milk.
