Everything was great
Reception greeting was warm and friendly. Our Room was exceptionally clean and fresh.
We arrived late as we had been at a dance competition travelling from the Sunshine Coast and the lovely reception lady rang through to the kitchen to say we were wanting something to eat and we were told that was fine and after dropping our bags in our room we went straight to the restaurant.
However the Restaurant staff made us feel really uncomfortable, did not offer a menu until we asked for one, we order two items which we thought would be easy to prepare quickly not main meals. Staff we standing close by watching us so we left quickly.
The pub
First time at Plainland Hotel at it didn't disappoint. We loved the spaciousness of our King room, the modern decor and comfy bed. The friendly staff assisted with two extras beds (rollaways) for our kids and there was still plenty of room to move around. Even though there is a bar and restaurant onsite, which we didn't pop into, we never heard a peep. We definitely recommend Plainland Hotel to other travellers.
No negatives!
Clean and easy access
No way of reheating food - microwave would have been handy. There are plates and bowls. Also no way of cleaning cups and glasses as there was no dishwashing liquid or tea towels.
The room was huge and very comfortably furnished. The bed was extra comfy with great pillows
