Pros:

The location itself is the highlight. Perched on top of a rock with mountain and lake views, the snowy scenery is lovely, both from inside and outside the hotel. The climate during my stay was pleasant, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was decent, especially the local food.

Cons:

Getting to the hotel was a real downside. The final 3.5 to 4 km from the highway is a bumpy, rough road through deep plantation, and the ride is noisy and uncomfortable. Reaching the hotel that way was unpleasant. The room amenities also fell short. Only bath towels were provided, with no bath mats for wet feet after showering, no hair dryer, and no iron or ironing facility. Slippers and bathing soap were missing and only came after several reminders. The staff seemed new or in training and weren't fully prepared for guest requests, so things often took repeated reminders and long waits.

Pros:

Loved the hotel. It's a reminder of the Raj period. It has amazing views over the tea plantations of the lower Western Ghats. The staff were great and very helpful. The food was fantastic and also a great selection too

Cons:

The only problem was a lack of hot water at times, but not a big issue

must visit in Munaar if you want an exclusive smaller place
Pros:

personalised service. staying on ground floor helped. The chef Mohan and restaurant manager Govind were rock stars. AS WERE aajal, Tony the front desk.

Very bad behaviour by manager
Pros:

During my visit to the hotel, the manager unnecessarily delayed me, which resulted in a loss of my personal leisure time. I found the experience frustrating, as the issue could have been resolved more efficiently. I hope such situations can be avoided in the future for a better guest experience.

Amazing stay, service and location.
Pros:

Staff was so great and helpful. I had lost my drone and they were able to help me retrieve and I'm so grateful for that.

Cons:

Some food options werent available all the time, but not a big deal.
