Não esperava um alojamento tão antigo. O colchão era mau, a localização é excelente porque permite fácil deslocação mas ao mesmo tempo, o facto do alojamento ser antigo e sem insonorização, ouviam-se os carros, as portas de outros quartos etc. No primeiro dia ao pequeno-almoço, ainda faltavam cerca de 30 min para o fecho e já não havia fruta. Pedi fruta e a senhora da cozinha simplesmente disse que já não havia mais fruta e continuou encostada ao balcão. Pareceu-me pelo constrangimento da colega, que havia mas que não quis ir descascar. No geral, achei caro para o que oferecia

Boa relação qualidade-preço. Bom pequeno - almoço, quartos agradaveis, co cheiro de piscina panorâmica e solario bastante agradável!

Foto que aparece para promoção do hotel (com a mulher de costas) não corresponde à realidade da piscina. É uma piscina panorâmica sim, com vistas lindas para o mar, mas existem prédios. A foto não corresponde exatamente as vistas que se tem lá.

I booked 3 rooms, when I got there I was told I only had 2 rooms booked, a balls up by booking.com as I had confirmation

Viel zu voll...nach 11 Uhr gibt es keine freien Liegen auf dem viel zu kleinen Rooftop. Pool war dreckig, was wahrscheinlich an der Menge an Leuten liegt.
Am letzten Tag gab es kein Wasser und alle Toiletten waren verstopft. War nicht ganz so schön

There was nothing to like, apart from leaving to come home

Cons:

We had booked our stay for a family event. The staff and manager at the Mayflower are not pleasant at all. Even a simple request from the event photographer to raise the bar shutter for a few minutes so she could take some photos of the group was met with refusal. Absolutely ridiculous. It would appear they make their rules up as they go along. Had we have known that this is how we were going to be treated we would have stayed elsewhere. When we asked to see the company policy we were told it was not in writing and we should take the manager's word for it ! Also the location of this hotel is not in a nice area. The streets are dirty and strewn with rubbish bags. And the view from our room which apparently was a better view from the 8th floor was looking down onto the dirty streets and a disused plot of overgrown land home to numerous stray cats. If you want a pleasant stay in a nice hotel then you should avoid the Mayflower at all costs.
