Colton House never disappoints!
Pros:

Anytime I get the chance to visit Austin, I choose to stay at the Colton House. It’s located in the middle of everything and the staff is always nice and helpful. The hotel is spotless and our room is always fresh and clean. I love this place!

Bruce Springsteen concert visit
Pros:

Great boutique hotel, beautiful decor. Nice pool area with Great music being played.
There’s a small restaurant/bar/coffee shop and you order your food and it’s made in a food truck. It was very good. We were in town for the Bruce Springsteen concert. It was a short Uber ride away. There is a Heb grocery store. Within walking distance of the hotel we were there at a Sunday and there was a nearby church that was beautiful for a Sunday service.

I would like to single out two of the workers at the front desk that were very helpful and friendly. Jacquie and the nite time guy Clay. You’re lucky to have them great employees.

Great comfortable hotel but ask for a room away from the road.
Pros:

Great location with easy drive to most things. The room was nice and well kept. Bed and pillows were VERY comfortable.

Cons:

Room 201 faces the road and it was really noisy all day and all night.

The Colton House prioritizes customer service and experience!
Pros:

Customer service is clearly a high priority here. There was an issue with the door to my room for the first 2 days (out of a 7 night stay) so this was a problem. Everyone at the front desk was doing everything they could to resolve the issue, but for some reason, the door wouldn't work. Changing rooms wasn't an option due to being sold out but they found a workaround and refunded the entire trip! They delivered packages to my room and just overall went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The rooms were clean and the hotel is absolutely beautiful.
I want to thank everyone that helped make my stay better and went above and beyond. Thank you Brandon, Sila, Jackie, & Neil at the desk for your help and thanks to Juan in maintenance for doing everything he could. The folks at the cafe were also amazing.

Nice place! But some hidden fees.
Pros:

Loved the location and the amenities. Although a bit loud with road noise.

Cons:

The parking fee is outrageous at $40 per night for reserving through booking. Only $ 20 per night if reserved through hotel.
They worked with me on this.
I also had $90 in amenities fee at checkout which was not noted anywhere. They also waived this after a conversation. They said it should have been included in my room charge.
Bottom line, check your bill, and ask about parking fees!!
