Beautiful house, really tastefully decorated set in a beautiful garden. The pool area was very nice and very relaxing. Very comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast.
The house is actually nicer than the photos, especially with all the beautiful flowers in bloom.
The atmosphere felt a bit reserved for my tastes. I felt it lacked the italian hospitality that I am used to. But I don't want to take from the beautiful house and maybe that type of atmosphere may be exactly what you're looking for.

Aircon was not easy to control; beds for Kids were at mezzanine too high and warm
Super Frühstück, sehr nette Gastgeber und Personal, viel Ruhe und Sonnen- und Schattenplätzen am Pool und Garten. Man ist schnell unten am Hafen mit zwei guten, eher gehobenen Fischrestaurants. Schloss Duino ist auf jeden Fall auch einen Besuch wert und der Rilkeweg an der Küste. Man kann auch vom Hafen aus mit dem Boot nach Triest fahren.
Wenn man gemütlich am Meer liegen will, sollte man eher in eine andere Bucht fahren. Es gibt einen kleinen Liegenverleih, der schnell voll ist, die meisten Leute sitzen auf den Steinen der Hafenmole.
Lovely owners who helped us with directions from Trieste on public transport. They also helped book two restaurants for us too in the local area. Very friendly, comfy and clean room, great breakfast and a lovely pool. Can't ask for more!
