Petit déjeuner excellent, chambre impeccable. Le lieu est magnifique, avec une très jolie piscine. Le cadre est particulièrement calme, idéal pour se ressourcer. Une très belle adresse.

Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend, das Buffet wurde immer wieder aufgefüllt. Für Wünsche gab es ein offenes Ohr.
Die Rezeption war meist besetzt und wir erhielten tolle Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung.
Die kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeit im Garten der Unterkunft war ebenfalls sehr angenehm.

Süßes kleines Hotel in ruhiger Lage, mit mega gutem Frühstück, einfach Bella Italia pur

Tolles kleines Hotel in super Lage mit kleinem Park , toller Blick über die Dächer von Duino, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Schon beim auffahren aufs Grundstück fühlt msn sich willkommen und im Italien Feeling. Wir haben super geschlafen. Die Kopfkissen sind ein Traum, das Frühstück mit Liebe angerichtet typisch italienisch sehr sehr lecker. Das Weißbrot war sooo lecker unbedingt probieren. Ganz liebe Empfehlung fürs Abendessen am Hafen . Ein kurzes Telefonat und sofort hatten wir einen Tisch im Restaurant am Hafen und die Wegbeschreibung dorthin per Nachricht auf dem Handy. Tommaso and Nicholas sehr sehr nette und freundliche Inhaber. Die kleine Villa hätte auch aus einem Werbespot sein können, mit Katze und Hund und dem süßen kleinen Balkon. Leider waren wir nur auf der Durchreise sonst wären wir gern länger geblieben.

Ein wirklich angenehmes und familiäres Hotel mit einem superfreundlichen Gastgeber
Pros:

Der Gastgeber (Tommaso) war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit (dankeschön!). Die Lage in Duino ist sehr angenehm mit etwa gleichen Geh-Distanzen zu Ortszentrum, Hafen und Naturschutzgebiet mit Wanderwegen. Die Parkmöglichkeit für das Auto ist großartig (ausreichend Platz auch für größere Autos, gut gesichert am hoteleigenen Grundstück hinter Tor mit Codeschloss). Die Zimmer waren wirklich sehr sauber. Das ganze Hotel ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und man fühlt sich fast wie zuhause. Der Pool und die Sonnenterrasse sind toll, leider war das Wetter bei unserem Aufenthalt noch zu kalt. Wir wollen aber auf jeden Fall auch einmal zur warmen Jahreszeit herkommen. Das Frühstück bot ausschließlich kalte Speisen, diese waren aber (im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels in Italien) sehr vielfältig und umfangreich. Und sehr gut :-)

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war (mit Dreier-Belegung) doch recht klein, es mangelte vor allem an Sitzgelegenheiten. Der im Zimmer befindliche Holz-Sessel war schon sehr wackelig und man wollte darauf zur Sicherheit lieber nicht sitzen. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, hätte aber noch Raum für Verbesserungen (siehe oben). Die Heizung war vorhanden und in Betrieb, aber wir haben es irgendwie nicht geschafft, sie vernünftig einzustellen (wir haben allerdings auch nicht nachgefragt).
