Disappointed about the pool
Pros:

Grandchildrens birthday treat.
Pros:

The food and staff were excellent, accommodation really good, comfortable bed. Delicious dinner and breakfast couldn't fault it.

Cons:

Couldn't get into the swimming pool on arrival at 3pm as it wasn't open 2 very disappointed grandchildren they had to wait to 8pm.

Overpriced for an old fashioned, tired hotel
Cons:

Over priced for the quality of the hotel. Bed was soft and had a hollow on one side. Bathroom was dated with a hand-held mixer tap style shower and old shower curtain. Carpet was grubby and decoration was tired throughout - better, more modern hotels are available at half the price we paid for this room

Nie wieder!
Pros:

Lediglich das neue Badezimmer war in Ordnung.

Cons:

Die Lage direkt an der Landstraße war für die nächtliche Ruhe nicht förderlich. Erst ab ca 23 Uhr ist der Verkehrslärm weniger geworden.
Darüber hinaus ist das Hotel extrem hellhörig. Man hört jede Zimmertür, wenn diese zuschlägt - ohne Türdämpfer! Auch wenn sich Personen im Flur aufhalten oder eine der Treppen nutzen fühlt es sich an, als ob die Personen neben dem eigenen Kopf gehen würden.
Zuletzt ist leider der Gestank im Hotelzimmer zu nennen. Dieser war eine Mischung aus kaltem Schweiß, Feuchtigkeit und Parfüm der Vorgänger.

short over night stay.
Pros:

We checked in late at 8.20pm slow as no receptions staff available for check in when we arrived. Informed at check in that restaurant closed at 8.30pm last orders for food and pool had access in am 1.5 hours -9.30am.
We had dinner platter for 3 people and sides and deserts.
Food was good, deserts ok and service friendly.
Biddy bar outside had football games on big screen, my boys enjoyed watching.
Note spa limited opening times should be highlighted on website, prior to booking. We didnt get to use pool as open 8-9.30 and 5pm-9pm. We arrived too late. The morning SPA time clashes with breakfast 8am-10am early on holidays.

Cons:

opening hours of spa longer during am and daytime.
