A comfy stay in the heart of Akasaka, with a great breakfast!
Pros:

The room was small, well designed so you could fit and move around. The breakfast was great, with both Japanese and Western options. The staff was very friend and attentive, especially the breakfast staff. The location was terrific: close to two subway stations (and 3 different subway lines), many restaurants and bars nearby, lively environment, but not loud.

Cons:

There was very little shelf space in the bathroom so keeping your toiletries out was difficult. The room was small, but that's to be expected in Tokyo for this price range.

The room was clean and a good size, especially considering Tokyo's typically compact hotel rooms. The location was convenient, with easy enough access to the metro. The internet was fast and reliable, and while the amenities were fairly basic, everything was clean and in good working order.

Cons:

The staff came across as a little rushed and impersonal. As for the location, Akasaka is a good choice if you enjoy a lively, polished neighbourhood with plenty going on (and plenty tourists). However, if you're looking for a quieter area with a more local feel, it may not be the best fit.

The hotel is located in a lively area with many restaurants. The room was cosy, we enjoyed the view!
Pros:

The hotel is located in quite lively neighbourhood with many restaurants, cafés and bars. We enjoyed to see high towers from our window. The room was clean and comfortable and we had everything what we needed.

Cons:

I was a bit disappointed that we had to pay some extra money for one our earlier check-in. Maybe it's casual but I haven't experienced it anywhere else and it was just a bit unwarm after our long flight. But it's actually just a detail. Generally we felt nice in the hotel.
