house looked good from the outside. when I saw staff they were friendly. the kitchen and lounge were spacious and clean
I had not expected shared bathrooms. room tatty but clean. fire alarm at 11pm dealt with asap.

Was more like a hostel, scruffy entrance and corridor. TV had poor aerial connection. We decided to return home after our evening event rather than stay the night as did not feel comfortable staying there.
Plenty to choose from for the breakfast, cereal, yoghurt, different breads for toasting, with butter portions and selection of jams all in the fridge.
Separate fridge & freezer to store your personal foods, decent dining area (conservatory) and nice communal lounge area.

Noisy from other guests. From my room I could hear it clearly. However, it stopped around midnight.
Very musky smell in one of our rooms. Wasn't to sure if it was due to abit of uncleaniness or something else. Ensuite looked very tired unfortunately. Quite small, peeling from ceiling so was abit hesitate to use shower(fan didn't seem to come on when using toilet).
Lack of staff around, which felt like if we had trouble at all would be hard to get ahold of someone quickly(again, not sure on response time if we did).

Closeness to Stansted airport.
No staff available all done by codes on doors. Also no lift to upper floors. My door open with key inside, I put my handbag and other things I was carrying and went back into corridor to get my suitcase, the door shut and locked behind me. As phone now in locked room and no staff, I was in a bad situation, if not for another guest letting me use her phone I wouldn’t have been able to get back in the room, ridiculous situation.

Kein Hotel, eher ein Hostel! Es sind keine Angestellten vor Ort und das Frühstück besteht aus Selbstbedienung an Müsli, Milch und Toast mit Marmelade. Die Joghurts waren schon alle als wor kamen und es muss selbst abgewaschen werden.
Im Badezimmer waren die Bodenfließen in der Dusche gesprungen und die Tür unten durch die Nässe aufgequollen.
Very clean , spacious bedroom and adequate en-suite.
Mess left in kitchen by other guests even though instructions request that guests wash up after themselves.
