Disappointed with the hotel's services.
Pros:

The hotel's location is decent, and the room is good.
But unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. My son experienced significant eye irritation after using the hotel pool, but the hotel did not take our concern seriously and insisted that there was nothing wrong with the pool water. We expected better attention to a guest safety concern and a more professional response from the hotel.

Cons:

The hygiene of the swimming pool is a concern, and the hotel did not take my complaint seriously. I asked for proof that they "check the water several times a day," and they ignored me.

Staff are very friendly and helpful
Good breakfast selection. Coffee is always available.
Location is easy to find off the highway.

Cons:

Wooden utensils in the breakfast area. Seating arrangement in breakfast area doesn't maximize the use of space. Many different types of chairs and tables. High stools at a long table aren't suitable for children, elderly or with mobility issues.

Above and beyond staff!
Pros:

We had a huge suite, which was very clean and pretty. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this might have been the nicest room yet. The highlight of our stay though was that the staff really went above and beyond to make our one night stay special. My boyfriend called ahead to let them know we were celebrating my birthday and they not only decorated the room for me as a surprise but also brought a little cake for me the next morning on my birthday. Amazing stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Ottawa West! The hotel is clean, stylish, and modern, with beautiful new rooms and very comfortable beds.

We were especially impressed by the breakfast — we honestly didn’t expect such a great variety! There were pancakes, oatmeal, potatoes with sausages, cereal with milk, eggs, omelettes, fresh fruit, juices, and more. Everything was fresh and delicious.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Pros:

Everything was simple, but organized, clean and worrked well.

Cons:

I was travelling with a pet, and I informed while I was booking, I tought the price I paid was final but getting there they charged me an extra 75cad because of the dog.
