A nice stay if you're visiting Liverpool
Pros:

The rooms were a good size and as we were travelling as a group of three, having the option of a triple room was really convenient. The staff were friendly and check-in was quick and easy. The key-code lock on the door outside from the street also meant the location felt secure. There is a 24h multistorey car park almost opposite which has secure parking. It's also just a 15 minute drive from Anfield stadium if you're visiting for a gig or football match.

Cons:

The rooms are only upstairs and there's no lift. This wasn't an issue for us but just something to bear in mind if you have mobility issues. The beds were okay but mattresses were a little saggy in the middle, although we still managed a decent night's sleep. We also walked past the hotel the first time as we weren't expecting the entrance to just be a door in between some shops.

Pros:

It was a fantastic location, in the heart of the city. The room was decent with a nice bathroom. The host was helpful and friendly.

Cons:

I have had my own car so parking was a problem. Had to park in the nearby public garage. Luckily it wasn't too expensive.

Stay in Liverpool
Pros:

Close to town and the train station

Cons:

There is no air con in the room. However, no fan was put in the room. Temperatures been around 30 all work and room was very hot. The shower didn't work properly. Once water went hot, it seems the tap wouldn't adjust to add cold water. Also, mold on the ceiling above the shower and on the tile silicone along the bottom

Other than the oppressive heat, the room & bathroom were very clean & comfortable.
Pros:

Central location, cleanliness, comfortable bed

Cons:

Hotel entrance quite difficult to find. It is a door immediately next to a convenience store, but their signage hides the name of the hotel. Directions referenced The Britannia Hotel which made finding it more difficult. Had the directions said The Adelphi Hotel it would have made it much easier as that is the name still on the building. There was electric fan in room. Our stay was during exceptionally hot weather and the room was stifling through the night & made sleeping near impossible.

Pros:

Well situated , comfortable bed

Cons:

Went to make a cup of coffee, noticed black bits flaking off the element on the kettle, expensive considering you don't get a breakfast , stayed in nicer places for less money
