Clean place and room
We had a great stay at Carnmore. The location is excellent with Christchurch central only a 10 minute walk away. The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet, and staff were very professional and welcoming. We also enjoyed the buffet hot breakfast.

Location was terrific for walking to many visitor sites. Beds were comfortable. Cafe with the restaurant is open late enough to get a dinner with classic comfort food. Good restaurants are very close by as well.
Reception staff were warm, efficient - a nice surprise was getting a bag of brownies upon check in!
Parts of it seemed a little “bare” or run down. In the room next to ours, there appeared to be a leak which required a large street cone to be placed there. When booking, it appears different floors have different color themes eg blue or red tones. Do request for your preference if color matters to you.

Room was very clean, comfortable bed and great location. Front staff were always very friendly. Loved the dual shower heads! We always managed to park our rental on the road outside the entrance.
