Pros:

The room, bed , shower, the view , breakfast, the bar all good! The staffs are very helpful!

disgusting, unsanitary and not what you want when you're paying for a 5 star resort.

Cons:

the room was not clean, there was leftover food in the minid fridge and poo left in the toilet. The room service function did not work. Everything was the opposite to the expectation of a 5 start hotel.

Padel racket prices were extortionate. Badly worded and the man was so rude to my son when he questioned the per racket price when is didn’t say per racket on the details it just said rackets.

Perfekt für einen kurzen Aufenthalt
Pros:

Grundsätzlich ist das Hotel mit seiner Anlage ein sehr schönes Fleckchen. Die Zimmer sind sauber, hübsch eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Nähe zum Flughafen war für mich ideal, da ich lediglich für zwei Nächte in Singapur bleiben wollte und bewusst eine Unterkunft in Flughafennähe gesucht hatte.

Besonders positiv hervorheben möchte ich den Umgang mit einem kleinen Problem, das ich mit meinem ursprünglichen Zimmer hatte. Nachdem ich dies an der Rezeption angesprochen hatte, wurde sehr professionell und entgegenkommend reagiert. Der Manager Dean war ausgesprochen freundlich und bemüht und organisierte für mich direkt ein anderes Zimmer – sogar mit einem Upgrade. Am folgenden Tag erkundigte er sich noch einmal persönlich, ob nun alles in Ordnung sei. Diesen aufmerksamen und professionellen Umgang mit einem Gast fand ich wirklich sehr positiv.

Wer Golf spielt, findet hier wahrscheinlich eine sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Flughafennähe war das Hotel für mich insgesamt eine gute Wahl.

Cons:

Die Lage ist zwar praktisch für den Flughafen, allerdings sollte man wissen, dass das Hotel relativ weit vom Zentrum Singapurs entfernt liegt. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln benötigt man ungefähr eine Stunde in die Innenstadt. Die nächste MRT-Station, Expo, ist zu Fuß etwa 30 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt.

Als ich bei meiner Ankunft die Expo Station verließ, sah ich zufällig den Shuttle des Hotels und nutzte diesen, obwohl ich ursprünglich geplant hatte, zu Fuß zu gehen. Leider empfand ich den Shuttlefahrer an diesem Tag als ausgesprochen unfreundlich. Mehr als die Tür zu öffnen, schien er kaum bereit zu sein, und insgesamt fühlte ich mich nicht besonders willkommen. Die gleiche Unhöflichkeit fand auch bei meiner Abreise statt. Ein „Guten Tag“ und ein Lächeln kosten weder etwas, noch tun sie weh. Meinen Koffer kann ich alleine ins Auto hieven.

Etwas schade fand ich außerdem, dass man als Nicht-Golfer den Golfplatz nicht betreten beziehungsweise überqueren darf. Obwohl die Anlage relativ nah am Meer liegt, gibt es dadurch keine Möglichkeit, auf direktem Weg Richtung Küste zu gehen.

An meinem ersten Abend bestellte ich im Restaurant Chicken Satay mit Erdnusssauce. Die Erdnusssauce selbst war sehr lecker, allerdings war das Hähnchen für meinen persönlichen Geschmack viel zu ölig zubereitet. Möglicherweise entspricht diese Zubereitungsart den lokalen Gewohnheiten, für mich persönlich war es dadurch leider nicht besonders schmackhaft.
