That the location is just at the train station. Just east

Cons:

Heater wasn’t working, for the hot weather there was no fan

Pros:

The price! A clean room, new shower unit, plenty of hot water comfy bed, easy entry and value for money breakfast.

Cons:

There was a disco the night I arrived, it is a pub after all, but after 10 it was quiet. They had an issue with the extractor fans, but that is in hand. Nothing major.

Nice staff: Room was okay and good parking with decent transport links. Noisy and sometimes run-down
Pros:

Staff are great. Visited when England playing World Cup and pub created great atmosphere. Room was fairly recently decorated and bed was fine. Plenty of parking. Near a train station and decent retail park

Cons:

Very noisy with loud, drunk guests. Some apparently underage and one passed-out in corridor. Needed more attention to detail in room - no loo roll holder, battery missing from remote, blinds frayed and didn’t fit window so very bright (Summer); no a/c or fan (heatwave); a guest randomly shouted and swore very late at night (think he had Tourets though).

Not family friendly.
Pros:

Friendly staff. Easy to find.

Cons:

It did not feel family friendly at all to the point where we booked somewhere else for our second night. Single beds, tiny bathroom, no fridge and felt unsafe leaving our car in the lot. Picked in part because they offered food only they weren’t during our stay. Ultimately won’t stay next time we are in town.

Pros:

Unfortunately nothing

Cons:

Had a funeral during my stay -stank of weed -endless amount of people using the fire escape .no care in the world .
