Super cool hotel- highly recommend it if you want to stay somewhere stylish, comfortable, spacious and away from the crazy touristy crowds in Kyoto. Our family enjoyed our short stay and the coffee shop, boutique shopping right downstairs is fabulous and we were super close to train line. Stay here if you want to stay in downtown Kyoto!

The location and the coffee shop were great. The room was spacious and quiet.
The bathroom tiles needed a deep clean, as soon as the wet room became steamy you could see it was not properly clean.
The service could be better - I made a request in my booking which was confirmed, but not actioned. I politely spoke to the team on the day of checking in and it was still not resolved during our stay. This was disappointing.

위치가 좋아 주요 관광지까지 편하게 다닐 수 있다. 건물이 아름다웠다. 높은 층에서 보이는 전망도 좋았다. 쇼핑몰도 고급스러웠다. 샤워시설이 넓고 깨끗했다. 직원들이 친절하고 영어에 능숙했다.
청소하는 직원이 내 샤워타월을 버려서 아쉬웠습니다. 호텔 슬리퍼가 찾기 어려운 곳에 비치되어 있어 여행 중반에서야 발견했습니다.

Super cool hotel with a modern vibe. Clean, comfy and convenient. Good coffee shop downstairs too. Loved Ace Hotel and all the staff!
This hotel a little gem in the heart of Kyoto but somehow not too crowded (maybe price point is a bit high?) - amazing restaurant and the Bar - the cocktails are really good! They welcome dogs (and cats i beleive) and crate and pet bed with all amenities was in place for our dog. Inform the hotel when you make the booking - not all the room are available when you bring your pet.
The vinyl player in every room and the choice of record you can choose from is insane - such a special moment.
I wish we had stayed a bit longer - definitely coming back when we are in Kyoto again.
Staff is also really helpful and friendly. Hight recommended!
