Don't risk it here. No explanation, no apology
Pros:

Five terrible reviews on here, July-August 2026. The Management are happy to thank people for good reviews, but are totally silent after these excoriating recent reviews. No apology or explanation. Such a shame for a once-great pub. Best advice to new customers is: go somewhere else

Enjoyed staying here and would definitely visit again.
Pros:

Really nice Inn by the river. The breakfast was very nice. Service very good too.

Cons:

The pillows were very soft and a bit uncomfortable.

Uriger Pub am Fluss
Pros:

Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war schön, alles ein bisschen schief weil das Haus sehr alt ist, aber das fanden wir charmant. Alles im Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. Wir sind auf einen Sonntag nachmittag angereist, und alle Parkplätze waren besetzt. Der Pub war sehr voll sowie die Terrassen. Trotzdem hat der Manager sich Zeit genommen um uns genau zu erklären wo wir parken könnten.

Cons:

Einiges auf der Speisekarte am Sonntagabend sowie Montagabend konnte man nicht bestellen. Am Vorabend hat man ein Formular bekommen und sollte man ankreuzen was man zum Frühstück bestellen mochte. Am nächsten Morgen sagte man uns das wir beide unsere ausgesuchte Gerichte nicht bekommen konnte, da man kein Avocado, Bacon oder BROT hatte!

Nice location and atmosphere, in need of renovations and general improvements
Pros:

Pub is nicely located next to a river, the setting outside with tables by the water is lovely for dinner and drinks. Despite being a pub, it is quiet and there are no noises at all at nights. Convenient parking (never seen it full even during world cup), no noise from A3 nearby (not sure how some people could possibly hear it, maybe they confuse it with the sound of the water). Cooked breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

Cons:

The room was very small, no space to put the suitcase. Bathroom shower has severe drainage issues, the water collects in the shower tray after 30 seconds. Considered the shower is fixed on the wall, there is not even a way to rinse the tray properly and the dirt just settles in, yuck! Toilets also doesn't flush great, the whole piping in the building needs an overhaul.
Non-cooked options at breakfast quite limited, could be improved.
Staff is okay, mostly young girls, they do their job but nothing more than that. Restaurant is closed for dinner on Sundays which would have been nice to know in advance (does not show on Google maps either).
There is no A/C but that's normal for an old building in the English countryside, wouldn't expect anything different.

Sleepless night due to the excessive heat in the room.
Cons:

Room was extremely hot. Only one small window so no through breeze possible.
Bathroom had a heated mirror that was permanently on which made the bathroom unbearably hot. The bathroom extractor fan did not appear to be working so the heat just stayed in the room.

I would love to stay again but in cooler conditions and a different room!
Pros:

The menu is limited but the quality of the food offered is exceptional. The standard of customer service is off the scale. And the setting is stunning

Cons:

No air conditioning. The overnight temperature in the room was extreme. I felt quite unwell by the morning. There was a lot of noise - banging doors - late in the evening and early morning as staff cleared away or began the day.
