Unieke locatie
Pros:

Het is een mooie en unieke locatie! Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en heerlijk.

Cons:

De kamer was niet helemaal schoon, het douchewater liep heel slecht erg (dit aangegeven, er zou naar gekeken worden maar heb geen verbetering gemerkt) en het meubilair zat op sommige onderdelen los.

Pésimo servicio de limpieza
Pros:

Gimnasio muy bueno

Cons:

La pieza no la hicieron 2 veces, aún colgando el cartel de que la hagan y solicitando en recepción. La ves que la hicieron, no limpiaron nada y la cama no la hicieron

Vriendelijk personeel, prima kamers. Goede uitvalsbasis om te fietsen naar de zee of het gebied rondom de rijp en natuurlijk Alkmaar centrum.

Cons:

Onze kamer was in het geheel niet schoon gemaakt. Werd direct excuses aangeboden en andere kamer geboden. Was prima opgelost en we hebben het niet als vervelend ervaren.

Goed voor weekend Alkmaar
Pros:

Erg leuke nostalgische locatie. Je slaap letterlijk in een oude gevangenis. Schoon. Netjes. Goed parkeren, goed ontbijt. Je kan ook nog buiten zitten als je wilt. Op loopafstand van het oude centrum.

Cons:

We hebben een upgrade gekregen naar een ruimere kamer via Booking (niet om gevraagd). De kamer zelf had een klein raampje en geen uitzicht. En geen ‘gevangenis deur’. Voor mij dan maar de standaard kamer met een normaal raam en standard beleving.

Außergewöhnliche Atmosphäre
Pros:

Die Atmosphäre und die Übernachtung in einem ehemaligen Gefängnis ist einzigartig. Die Lage ist super und die Umgebung mit einem angrenzenden Park sehr schön. Man kann Abends sehr gemütlich im Innenhof sitzen und etwas essen.

Cons:

Leider wurden die negativen Bewertungen bzgl. Sauberkeit im Zimmer bestätigt. Die Dusche, der Spiegel und die Glastüren waren sehr dreckig, fleckig und verkalkt und könnten eine ordentliche Reinigung gebrauchen. Der Klodeckel hatte braune Flecken, die nicht mehr entfernt werden konnten (da wäre ein Austausch deingend nötig). Die Kaffemaschine war ebenfalls nicht sauber und der Wassertank wurde nach Benutzung von den vorherigen Gästen nicht gesäubert und geleert. Zudem konnten die Glastüren zum Badezimmer nicht geschlossen werden, da sie kaputt waren. Nach sofortiger Reklamation an der Rezeption wurde kein neues Zimmer angeboten und am nächsten Tag die Türen nicht repariert (obwohl uns dies versprochen wurde). Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, allerdings war es aufgrund der Fertigprodukte kein 4 Sterne-Standard.

Mooie ambiance, overnachten in een oude gevangenis. Het ademt geschiedenis.
Pros:

Ontbijt was voortreffelijk verzorgd, de produkten die op waren werden erg vlot weer bijgevuld, en de gebruikte tafels werden snel afgeruimd en opnieuw gereed gemaakt voor de volgende gast.

Pros:

There's a park adjacent to the hotel. I hadn't expected to see peacocks and llamas roaming in a caged wildlife exhibit. Nor a flock of wild spoonbills nesting in the trees nearby. Good weather? Take a bit of time to go through it, then wander back to the hotel terrace and cool off with a nice drink.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr entsprechend, trotzdem fahren wir noch gerne dahin

Und gefällt es sehr gut in Alkmaar. Das Hotel ist toll gelegen, das Personal sehr nett, das Restaurant ist gemütlich und das Essen sehr gut.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind schön renoviert worden, aber mittlerweile abgenutzt und es fehlen kleine Schönheitsreparaturen und Haken für Mäntel/Jacken und Handtücher zum trocknen. Die Zimmer werden nicht täglich gereinigt und die Betten nicht gemacht. Dafür ist ist der ZimmerPreis zu hoch.
