The room was comfortable, clean and the accessible bathroom was really good. The price was very, very reasonable. The staff were professional, friendly and very helpful.
The steps from the car park up to the rear entrance and reception were difficult for my disabled wife, and walking around to the front entrance wasn’t easy for her.
There was no mirror in the bathroom.
exceptional room, very spacious and clean, beds were comfy and slept well, breakfast was good value for money, and plenty of parking for guests, staff were very helpful and courteous, I Have even booked again for my next trip to Birmingham.

Some staff were very helpful and assisted us in getting a taxi to our party.
The breakfast was poor and the staff didn’t appear to be able to tell us what time breakfast was or indeed the cost. We were told we can pay at the bar.
Great location for what we needed (Which was, within walking distance of the Royal Orthopaedic hospital). Excellent staff, and looked a lovely pub / restaurant, unfortunately we didn't eat or drink there.

Big sign advertising breakfast but when went to ask if we need to book was told no cooked breakfast, we decided to try the continental breakfast it was not the best very poor for cost. Having the two different iPads to log car parking one doing 1day and the other multiple not clear when the day starts or finishes, did the one at check in desk when we got there and used one at bar later on as advised by barman and you good selection many night which was easier.
The location and staff
The older, thinner spring mattress needs replacing with memory foam. Would prefer. A warning ahead dogs can stay in the rooms.
Breakfast was okay friendly staff was able to get a meal though limited in selection
The springs in the mattress you could feel when you lay down which was uncomfortable but if you managed to postion yourself right it was more comfortable
Location good, overall first impression of room not bad. Traffic noise was not a problem as I thought it may be.
Very hot - no fan in room in height of Summer. from 2am in the morning till almost 5am the people in the room above me were banging up and making a lot of noise. Got no sleep and was very upset that the lady at reception did not check to see who had been in the room above me so they could at least email them with something to say this was unacceptable. I did take some recordings of the noise but you cant tell in the same way as I heard it. In the morning I was greeted with 3 large spiders on the wall and ceiling. I have a recording of the spiders. All the receptionist could say was eww I would have hated that! Personally think I should have had a partial refund.
