This was a centrally located no frills hotel, owned by real people who are locals and run with sustainability at its cor
Pros:

The property was run with sustainability and the environment at its core. Cleaning products were eucalyptus based, who gives a crap toilet paper, water filling stations and minimal plastic. The shared bathrooms were very clean , and separated men and women’s bathrooms. Retro vibe and comfortable beds .

Cons:

There was no shared space/ living area open after 8 pm ( the front part of the hotel) …
Although they had an urn in the hallway and a fridge in the rooms there was nowhere to sit or eat at a table .. there was only a small retro telephone table/ bench in our room.

Funky Hotel in a Great Location
Pros:

Funky little hotel in a great central location. Loved the decor and the old style lounges. Having a fresh water jug and boiling water was a nice touch. Bathroom was clean. Friendly staff. Good value for money.

Cons:

Nothing not to like. If you like retro style, you'll love it.

Relaxing, great vibes and very friendly, relatable but professional staff.
Pros:

The overall experience was great, the staff were very helpful, polite and professional and the coffee was probably the best I've had. The whole vibe was relaxing and enjoyable.
I will definitely stay there again.

Cons:

My only tiny criticism would have to be no TV in the room, as I was in Hobart for a hospital procedure it would have been nice to have a TV to chill out while I recovered from my medical procedure.
As I said though, tiny nit picking from me. Everything else was spot on.

Pros:

Fantastic location and the staff were awesome. Cute bar/reception and a nice warm homely feel. Very clean.

Cons:

Over priced due to Dark Mofo. But I'm sure it would be more reasonable other times of the year.

Disappointed after previous stays, wouldn’t stay again after this one.
Pros:

I’ve stayed here before and always liked it. Relaxed and friendly. Clean shared bathroom never had to wait, life hot shower.

Cons:

This stay my room was street facing and the street noise is very loud with a lot of homeless people shouting into the night and cars revving. There are double windows which work but then there is no air and the room was really smelly like stale old cigarettes or dirty socks (it’s definitely non smoking so don’t know why) so not good closed up. Bed wasn’t very comfortable…blanket itchy and rough. It just felt generally unpleasant unfortunately.
