Das alte Kloster ist einfach toll. Es strahlt Ruhe aus und es wird alles getan, dass man sich dort wohlfühlt. Es ist für uns ideal gewesen, um abzuschalten. Ruhe, tolle Ausicht, ein Pool, fantastisches Essen und tolle Weine. Das hat zwar seinen Preis, ist aber durch und durch ein Erlebnis und von toller Qualität. Ausserhalb des Klosters gibt es fussläufig wenig zu erkunden. Ohne Ablenkung kann man im Convento zwischen alten, beeindruckenden Fresken, Säulen …. und liebevoll ausgesuchtem Mobiliar zur Ruhe kommen.
Wenn ich der Gemeinde Piancastagnaio einen Wunsch ausrichten könnte, wäre das einen Spazierweg mit Aussicht anzulegen. Fussgänger freundlich ist der Ort ausserhalb des alten Kernes nämlich nicht.

Charming hotel renovated from a historic building. Spacious rooms. Mountain view from the swimming pool is lovely. The town Piancastagnaio is within walking distance where you can find restaurants. Hotel restaurant is good too. The fresco and the ceiling are so beautiful. Nice wine list. The sommelier can propose something according to your preference. If the weather is good, guests can enjoy the breakfast in the beautiful garden. Free private parking.
Not much. Just the lighting in the bathroom is a bit dim.

La struttura è una splendida dimora storica impreziosita da affreschi, immersa in una vista mozzafiato sulla Val d'Orcia. È il luogo perfetto per ritrovare la pace e la tranquillità che la frenesia quotidiana ci sottrae.
We had an amazing time in the accommodation. It is absolutely stunning place and you can tell the personnel really cares about the guests. Amazing family history going into the convent. I have to highlight the restaurant for both lunch and dinner - it was absolutely delicious.
Anyone able to visit is privileged to stay at this beautiful place. Impecably kept, staff super friendly, nice breakfast, and warm pool overlooking Val D’Orcia. Fantastic stay.
The rooms don’t have a/c; but have a large fan that works well. During our stay, there was a heatwave, and made things a tad warm and humid.

It's a real Covent, so sleeping there feels like an incredible privilege. The visit of the Covent is really interesting, if you like history I highly recommend it. The view of the valley is magical. The staff was so kind and welcoming. I know they were very accommodating to everyone. Breakfast had a lot of variety and there's great cocktails too! We used our stay there as an opportunity to visit the San Filippo thermal baths.
The people who served us were very attentive the breakfast was decent. The best part was the view of the lovely gardens very scenic place.
