Mixed feelings
Pros:

Main entrance was lovely, looked clean until you got out of the lift for your room.

Cons:

The carpets in the corridor towards our room were stained and were dirty . The main double bed was so uncomfortable I could feel the spring in the mattress so I only had 4 hours sleep so I was absolutely exhausted.

Uncomfortable hot room due to faulty AC
Pros:

I enjoyed their full English breakfast. It was well prepared and kept warm throughout the breakfast time.

Cons:

The bed looked smaller than I booked, the room AC wasn't working, hence room too hot, when I called the reception desk at around 20:30 to get someone sort out the AC, one was promised but never appeared.

great quality, well situated.
Pros:

Lovely bathroom. Beds very comfy. Breakfast delicious.

Cons:

Absence of teapots or decent sized cups for breakfast. Cups way to small for a teabag. I booked based on the inclusion of parking but fortunately found out through comments that the car park cost extra.

Disappointed first time in Manchester
Pros:

Like the location and the staff

Cons:

Asked for early check in over the phone and you said that was OK. Got there and said they couldn't. So had to carry stuff around. Duvet cover was on wrong way. Plug didn't work ac didn't work. And one light is hanging off the wall. Also paid 30 pound for a deposit for some reason. Still waiting for it back.

anuncian restaurante ... y es una porqueria total . . un desastre . . pides algo y hay que ir a la barra para pedirlo . luego vienen y te cobran antes de traerte la comida y sin la factura para poder ver lo que pagas . . y encima los empleados defienden ese company policy horrible .. en la entrada anuncian un restaurante como en la web . . y es una porqueria sin limites .. la hamburguesa de plastico . . terrible .. sin vasos . . vamos un desastre . . el personal de recepcion es tremendamente antipatico y poco resolutivo . . no tienen una sola sonrisa . . realmente jamas volveré a ese hotel . . los productos que venden abajo son tremendamente caros .. los taxis no pueden parar en la puerta . . las habitaciones de atras dan a una obra llena de ruidos desde por la mañana .. cuando llegue la taza del bater de mi habitacion estaba sucia . . la ducha no tiene casi presion . .

Friendly Staff Unable to Make up for Cold room and Hot Prices
Pros:

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and anxious to be of help.
The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.
As I had chosen the hotel for its proximity to the Arena, the location was perfect - although there was little else around, in the characterless neighborhood.

Cons:

The main problem was that the room was very cool, and 3 different members of staff were unable to get the heating working. There was a supposed maximum temperature of 24 degrees, but, even set at that, the temperature never rose, and .my companion struggled with the low temperature. Staff loaned us a standing heater.
A further unusual problem was that our phones would not charge. Two different phones, 3 chargers, and they would not charge either from the plug sockets or from the ports accompanying each socket.
Finally, the outrageous in-hotel prices should be noted. £5 quoted for a glass of coke at the bar, and £5.50 for a 150 gram bag of crisps is daylight robbery.

Queremos destacar especialmente la atención de Ricardo. Desde el primer momento fue súper amable y atento con nosotros. Le preguntamos si era posible dejar nuestras maletas y nos ayudó sin ningún problema, siempre con una excelente predisposición.

Además, para nosotros fue un detalle enorme que pudiera hablar nuestro idioma, porque hizo que todo fuera mucho más fácil y cercano. Se comportó de diez con nosotros.

Personas como Ricardo hacen que la experiencia en un hotel sea todavía mejor. Muchas gracias por la atención, la amabilidad y la buena onda. Sin duda, un gran profesional que merece ser reconocido.

También destacar la ubicación que estaba a 10 min caminando de la estación de buses y de victoria, del centro… no tuvimos que coger transporte para nada
