I liked the room I stayed at, it was comfortable and the view of the city was lovely.
The only thing I didn’t like about the room was how difficult it was to turn on the air conditioning even though I followed the instructions; it just wasn’t attainable.
Good location clean rooms
Aircon wasn’t working in our room and it was 30 degrees outside, not the staffs fault but when I went and asked they didn’t have much to say, got told it was hot outside but then there are no windows to open in the room. Could tell it was working in the rest of hotel as was cold everywhere else
Hotel was lovely, comfy bed, large shower, great location
The carpark was very dark and no signs for which way to go/exit
The staff were okay and the hotel room was clean bathroom was nice
The bed was uncomfortable , and the room was pretty small , no socket next to the huge mirror so couldn't do my hair or make up so had to use the bathroom mirror but when theres two of you getting ready at the same time it was hard !! The shower water went everywhere so the floor was really wet and the cooked breakfast was luke warm and pretty tasteless tbh !!
The breakfast was great. Diane was a very attentive host, the range of food was good and we enjoyed the waffle station. Great that was included in the price point.
The room was spacious for a 3 person room. The building was well laid out and had good facilities - was excited to see there was a gym. While I didn’t use it, I liked the range of equipment available and would have been happy to use.
We also liked the later check out time.
Our room faced out onto construction work on the next building which started around 7:30/8am. This was loud drilling that was quite disruptive for all of us and resulted in not feeling fully rested.
On the second day, the breakfast hall was incredibly busy to the point it felt unsafe to try and move around with hot food and drink as everyone was crowded around the same area. It made it quite stressful to navigate. We appreciated the indication signs of what times breakfast would have been busy but maybe there could have been a better system to allowing people into / move around the breakfast area.
The location was good. Close to things we wanted to do. Safer in room was good.
There were only 20 spaces in the car park and also not easy to find. The sofa in our room was badly stained (added a photo but doesn’t do it justice) the sink in the bathroom wouldn’t unplug, we went down to reception and asked and they said there should be a lever on the bank of the tap which there was not, we had to go underneath the sink basin to manually push the plug up. Small room. No biscuits in the tea and coffee facility in room, which for a 4 star you would expect. Hairdryer also not working properly. No toiletries in bathroom.
El desayuno y el aseo del hotel. Habitación moderna y camas muy cómodas
No es tan cerca de la estación central de Picadilly
Breakfast was delicious, and the buffet was well stocked with almost every English Breakfast dish you can think of. The location of the property is also remarkable.
For the price point, I felt the rooms could have offered better value comparative to other facilities of that price range. Also, the room was hot, and I was sweating throughout the afternoon even with the AC on and the thermostat set at the minimum temp. of 19⁰C
