Amazing from start to finish
Pros:

An old property on the outside but very modernised on the inside. We stayed in the king superior suite. It was very spacious, comfortable air conditioning, the bed was sooooo comfortable if I could score higher I would! Exceptional breakfast, wonderful friendly staff, would definitely stay there again

Cons:

Not a dislike as such but no lift so if you struggle with the stairs it might be an issue. Also would have preferred a shower cubicle rather then a shower over bath but wasn’t an issue for us.

Comfortable, quality accommodation
Pros:

I had to switch rooms because I wanted to stay an extra night. Both rooms were comfortable and well equipped although the single room was pretty compact. The air conditioning during a heatwave was excellent. The staff were charming and reception very helpful.
A short walk from the historic centre.
There is a reasonably priced multi storey carpark nearby.
No evening meals but plenty of options within easy walk.

Cons:

This is a comfortable modern hotel in an old building but it is not a character property. Not Ye Olde Coaching inn for example.
Breakfast was fine but nothing special. You will probably want to help yourself to coffee because the breakfast staff seemed to disappear once they had you seated and had taken your order for freshly cooked eggs!

The hotel was in a central part of the city, and the reception staff were helpful.

Cons:

My room was opposite a nightclub and on the Saturday night the music was like being in an MIR,I realise that there's not much they can do about it, but it's worth, mentioning it for others. Also for breakfast I requested poached eggs on toast, which were delivered without toast.. odd, I was told I had to makey own toast! To make it worse when I went to eventually eat them they were practically hard boiled. So to give everyone another chance, I asked for some more poached eggs done correctly, soft and runny, on toast. Take 2 exactly the same, hard boiled and no toast. I gave in and left! ......... To be fair 5 minutes later my bedroom door was being knocked on and when opened he said the 3 egg was now ready, as I was in a rush, so we said it was on the house and there was a drink behind the bar, so at least they tried.

Cons:

Hotel car park was full when I arrived at 14.45 and after a 3 hour drive to have to look for parking was unwelcome hassle.

Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Lage war gut und obwohl ein Nachtclub gegenüber war, konnte man keinen Lärm hören.

Cons:

Es gab im Zimmer zu wenig Ablage Flächen bzw Stauraum. Koffer konnte nicht ausgepackt werden.
