Pros:

Location, convenient parking and breakfast.

Cons:

Room at the back (107) cramped and low ceiling made it quite claustrophobic for two people. Better for one.

A comfortable stay let down by the noise from the nightclub outside
Pros:

Excellent location for exploring Salisbury, staff were very friendly and the bar was comfortable, welcoming and good value.

Cons:

Very limited hotel parking (space for about 4 cars plus 2 or 3 EVs only). I stayed a Saturday night and had a room looking out to the high street. There is a night club opposite and it was very noisy until well into the early hours. Friends who had rooms towards the rear of the hotel heard nothing so would recommend requesting a room away from the front of the hotel.

Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were on hand throughout the stay. The breakfast was very good, with eggs cooked to order. Hard to beat two perfectly poached eggs in the morning! The property was a short walk from the main part of the town and a 10 minute walk to the train station, so very convenient. There was airconditioning in the room that was easily controlled, and a window that opened. We turned the aircon off at night and just had the window open. The room was pretty spacious compared with many city-centre hotels.

Cons:

We are fine with stairs, but it might have been a bit of a struggle for people who are less mobile. Apart from the breakfast, there is no food served at the hotel, but given the number of restaurants in Salisbury, that wasn't too much of a problem.

Great location, super staff and simple accomodation at a good price.
Pros:

Liked the location- good to be so central.
Room was nicely decorated and staff very helpful and friendly

Cons:

It was basic in terms of extras. We got one type of teabag in the room, no other options- a few herbal would have been nice.
Also bathroom was a step into shower over bath which was slippy and lacking in ‘comfort’ products such as body cream.
The room was dark and at the back of the property.

Pros:

Fantastic location, easy check-in and check-out, friendly staff! A really solid air-con system was very welcome in the middle of the English heatwaves.

Cons:

Given that it's a restored older house, it had a few tight hallways and weird steps to navigate, but honestly it's nitpicking.
