Not sure we liked a lot about the property. We didn’t have the best view, but they’re also under construction.
Another disturbing issue was seeing toddlers, approximately two or three years old, possibly younger in the hot tub wearing swim diapers. It was disgusting to think that guests were sitting and relaxing in water that could be contaminated by urine or other waste. The signs outlining hot tub rules were far too small and clearly not being enforced. Larger, more visible signs are needed.
Even more concerning was seeing a baby crying in the hot tub, visibly uncomfortable from what appeared to be excessive heat. It was upsetting to watch, especially knowing how dangerous hot tubs can be for very young children. Management needs to take guest hygiene and child safety much more seriously and actively enforce the rules.

The staff was very helpful
The food was amazing!
The resort is close to Park City, which is a beautiful location, and the atmosphere in the lobby area was open and relaxing.
My check-in experience was among the worst I've had. The initial contact was perfunctory at best. However, I had booked a room with a mountain view, and upon entering my room I found that it was at ground level looking at the parking lot (two floors directly below the room from which I took the photo). When I went back to the front desk to suggest that there must have been some mistake, I was told that I had not paid for the room, that it was complimentary with the equestrian group (??), and that that was my assigned room. I suggested again that there had been a mistake, since I had no idea what she was talking about and I had booked my room through Booking.com (showing her my receipt of payment), but the only response I received was: "Well, then you'll just have to reach out to that third-party vendor."
After I retreated to the admittedly open, relaxing lobby area to find the Booking.com contact information, she called me back to the desk to say that she had found another available room and gave me keys to the room from which the photo was taken. Having just driven 10 hours to get there, I was too tired to press the issue further.
The Park City area has spectacular mountain views worth paying a bit extra for. If my room indicated what the Black Rock Mountain Resort considered such a view, I caution my fellow travelers against paying extra for the experience.
Comfy bed
The receptionist, in our checking were told that we can do a late check out an hour later that won’t be an issue, we used had to call. Then next morning we called and the second receptionist said, that is impossible and we will get charged if we passed the 11:00 am check out. When you pay $400 at night, this is ridiculous.
Also, I called to ask for extra blankets, we never got them. We have to come to the lobby to request in person.
Todo muy limpio, organizado y nuevo
The room was so great! It was so nice having the extra space!
The fire alarm went off for over an hour one night from 2-3am. The staff didn't say anything, and the management of the situation was very poor
Hotel novinho, o quarto estava bem arrumado e muito limpo. O restaurante de hotel é ótimo e com preço justo.
Very spacious apartment, included all the amenities we needed.
Parking was a bit sparse, but I understand the property is still under construction.
