Pros:

Le staff aux petits soins est vraiment le grand plus, le petit déjeuner est très bien, notamment la combinaison buffet/plats chauds à la carte et la piscine est magnifique.

Fabulous hotel if you are looking for total peace and quiet.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent. The sunbeds are so comfortable, the best I’ve seen and the view in the main is amazing, although there are some buildings in front of the hotel which does spoil certain aspects of the view.

Cons:

It’s a little far out from anywhere, you can’t really walk to restaurants. There is one restaurant about a 10 mins walk but it’s on a busy main road with no footpath.
There is a free shuttle to the local beach which was great, however, when we got there one morning ALL the beds were “reserved” despite hardly any one being on them. It appears that the beds are kept for locals. We had to put our towels on the pebbles. We weren’t told that this may be an issue or told how to book beds. Needless to say we didn’t bother going back.
We were told this hotel was exclusively for adults but one morning there were children at breakfast including a toddler.

Pros:

Das Vivid Blue Hotel punktet zunächst mit seiner wunderschönen, ruhigen Lage und einem tollen Ausblick. Wer Erholung abseits des Massentourismus sucht, wird sich hier wohlfühlen. Mit einem Mietwagen ist das Hotel außerdem ein guter Ausgangspunkt, da sich viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Strände und Restaurants in kurzer Zeit erreichen lassen. Allerdings entstehen rund um das Hotel derzeit zahlreiche Baustellen, was den Gesamteindruck etwas trübt.

Der Empfang war freundlich und unser Familienzimmer hatte eine angenehme Größe. Insgesamt war das Zimmer in Ordnung.

Cons:

Beim Service haben wir allerdings sehr unterschiedliche Erfahrungen gemacht. Am Abend fragten wir an der Rezeption nach einem Sonnenschirm. Als Antwort wurde uns lediglich empfohlen, im Supermarkt einen zu kaufen. Ehrlich gesagt fanden wir das für ein Vier-Sterne-Hotel ziemlich enttäuschend. Am nächsten Morgen zeigte sich dann das genaue Gegenteil. Eine andere Mitarbeiterin kümmerte sich sofort darum, prüfte die Möglichkeiten und organisierte uns tatsächlich einen Sonnenschirm. Dieser war zwar nicht mehr ganz in Ordnung, aber durchaus nutzbar. Darum ging es uns auch gar nicht. Entscheidend war, dass sie sich wirklich Mühe gegeben und eine Lösung gefunden hat. Dieses Engagement möchten wir ausdrücklich loben.

Leider gibt es aber mehrere Punkte, die aus unserer Sicht nicht dem Anspruch eines Vier-Sterne-Hotels entsprechen. Das Hotel ist gerade einmal etwa sechs Jahre alt. Trotzdem lösen sich bereits Mosaikfliesen und im Badezimmer quillt das Holz an der Dusche auf. Solche Mängel sollten in einem so jungen Hotel schlicht nicht vorhanden sein.

Auch beim Frühstück zeigte sich Verbesserungspotenzial. Die Auswahl war grundsätzlich in Ordnung. Allerdings war der Service häufig unterbesetzt. Teilweise war nur eine Servicekraft für den gesamten Frühstücksbereich zuständig. An manchen Tagen waren sogar sämtliche Teller vergriffen, sodass Gäste erst warten mussten, bis neue nachgelegt wurden. Das sind Kleinigkeiten, die sich summieren und nicht zu einem Vier-Sterne-Hotel passen.

Der Check-out war ebenfalls enttäuschend. Während unseres Auscheckens war die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption mehrfach mit ihrem Handy beschäftigt und schrieb offenbar private Nachrichten. Als Gast fühlt man sich in diesem Moment nicht besonders wertgeschätzt.

Der größte Kritikpunkt war jedoch das vorbestellte Lunchpaket für unseren Tagesausflug. Dieses bestand lediglich aus einer Banane und einfachen Toastscheiben mit Schinken und Käse. Das empfanden wir als ausgesprochen lieblos.

Calm and relaxing and we were well looked after.
Pros:

There are many positives about this hotel. there was a calmness throughout the hotel. The pool area was clean and the sun beds a very high quality. The staff are very helpful, efficient, and knowledgeable. The breakfast was very good and the changes each day were noticeable. There was a menu choice for breakfast in addition to the buffet. The restaurant was reasonably priced and had a good selection of meals. The room was per advert and was kept clean by the excellent cleaning team. A contract with a local taxi company makes the taxi price reasonable

Cons:

The coffee machine, which was 'new this year and causing a few problems' was not good. Coffee was available from the bar but we had to pay for it. The distance Sveti Stefan is more than 2km and requires a car or taxi( these are expensive in Montenegro- Not the hotels fault)

- the view with the pool and the sea is stunning

A fantastic hotel, offering high standards of service and customer care.
Pros:

The hotel is lovely, it has amazing views of the Adriatic sea, especially from the infinity pool. The staff were all so friendly, especially the waiters/waitress and cleaning team. We hired a car, so we could venture out and explore Budva and Kotor. Lovely local beaches too!

Cons:

There was a mini bar in the room however it was very, very small, therefore we were not able to chill any of our own drinks and had to request ice regularly. That is the only fault we found.

Pros:

The view from the swimming pool

The localisation: surrounded by works and a gas station
The cleanliness (or lack): spots on walls and bathrooms
The damages : around the door, on the floor, in the bathroom and some of the equipment (like damaged desk or wardrobe you cannot fully open because of the entrance door). We had water coming in the room because there was wind and rain outside.
The « private terrace » : actually accessible by everyone (for the communicating room we had) and not really enjoyable because of the road noise
The parking with no cctv (apparently very unusual for Montenegro and could have been helpful considering our car has been damaged there …)
—> all this led to us leaving the hotel and asking for commercial effort that was refused (only tax for nights not spent were refunded) - demonstrating a lack of customer centric approach definitely !
