We enjoyed the room, walking in the area, the Brewery, M.M. Coffee and Stave and Cork wine bar.
Pros:

Value, location in Salem.

Cons:

Room 201 is a great room but it is on Main Street and can be noisy.

Clean, comfortable and easy.
Pros:

Staff were extremely kind and helpful. The building is beautiful, very clean and comfortable, as was the condo. I liked the entrance code approach and mechanism. Overall, a very nice stay.

Cons:

There wasn't a single thing that I didn't like- all was good.

Huge loft, great price, excellent property
Pros:

What an absolute gem of a property. I found this place on accident while looking for a halfway point to get some sleep for a 13 hour drive. I only looked at the price and the room picture and had no idea this was basically a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and washer and dryer in unit. I travel and stay at places all over the country for work and I am very wary of both chain and boutique hotels- frequently getting duped by slick photos only to end up in a run-down or very dated place (like I did with another hotel on the second leg of my trip!). This loft was true to the photos and just a great, comfortable and well appointed place to stay. Since it is not a traditional hotel, it was more like checking in to an AirBB. They send you your door code to get in when your room is ready. The price was actually lower than what you would pay at a chain with 5x the room (I literally pulled up my reservation after I walked in to the room to double check what my rate was because I was thinking it must be double- but it wasn't). Its an older renovated building but they kept a lot of the original charm with brick interior walls, large wood beams, uneven/slanted original wood flooring. Salem is actually a cool little town, very clean, quiet at night, walk-able to food and coffee. This property is half a block from the police station and the entire downtown felt very safe and relaxed. The building itself was whisper quiet- no noise from other guests. The only issue I had here was the bathroom was showing a little wear and needed a new shower curtain (and a TV in the bedroom would have been nice- there was just a flatscreen in the living room) but still 5 stars all around.

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE
Pros:

Absolutely amazing setup. CLEANEST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED!!! Easy check in, room was everything you could ask for. Felt safe, restaurants within walking distance, quiet, parking was easy. The ONLY negative thing and it is definitely NOT a big deal would be to have some type of shelf over the toilet or on a bathroom wall to place toiletries while getting ready. The room we stayed in had only a single vanity and it got a bit crowded. SMALL suggestion. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.

A great stay at a historically significant building converted to enchanting and modern rooms.
Pros:

Conversion of an architecturally significant building and repurposed as rental rooms. Located in a great community of interesting buildings, retail outlets and history. We will be back to spend more time than just overnight and too few hours exploring the area.

Cons:

This was my first time staying at an facility that is "relatively unattended" and access is secured strictly by door codes. I didn't necessarily consider it a negative but it was a first for me.

Clean, minimal but contemporary and self-sustaining for longer stays.
Pros:

No breakfast. Good, central location to all things Salem downtown.

Cons:

Longer desk hours and more local area information about dining.

Clean and Comfortable - Home Away from Home
Pros:

The room was very spacious; the kitchen is full-size well-equipped with coffee and teas. All the necessary things to cook and wash up. The bed and pillows were comfortable; the entire space was very clean and comfortable. The property is very quiet and centrally located to shopping, grocery and restaurants. There is a small farmers market across the street on Saturdays. The history and character of the building have been well preserved. I would definitely recommend staying at The Lofts.

Cons:

Nothing

My Favorite Hotel in the Area!
Pros:

I booked my next stay before I left the hotel this weekend. I always look for an excuse to stay at this hotel. The hotel is so convenient to restaurants, shops and Route 81. The Farmers Market is right across the street on Saturday mornings. There is an excellent coffee shop a short distance away, Mill Mountain Coffee Shop. The rooms are always very clean. The kitchen and bathroom are sparkling clean. I find the beds to be very comfortable.

From Car Showroom to Modern Hotel
Pros:

This historic building is amazing as a place to stay. It has all the modern touches you’d find in a fine hotel and the price cannot be beat. It’s an easy walk to coffee, lunch and dinner as well as many other spots (whether it is getting a tattoo or finding a book to read). Make this your next spot to stay when in Salem!

El esfuerzo por estar en la graduación
Pros:
