Would definitely avoid. Tonnes of better options at the same or better rate nearby.
Pros:

Decent location, staff were very friendly, but severely understaffed. Expect to wait for 20-30 minutes each time for anything minor.

Cons:

I would not recommend staying at Bermonds Locke based on my experience.

When I arrived, the room was heavily covered in dust. Dust visibly came off the blanket, mattress and pillows, and the bedside table was thick with it. My eyes became red and my nose was constantly irritated while I was in the room.

Several facilities were also not working properly, including the dryer. I spent a significant amount of time waiting while staff tried to resolve the issue, but the overall response was slow and ineffective.

I reported the problems formally during my stay and asked to check out early because I did not feel comfortable remaining in the room. I also requested a refund for the unused nights, but the matter was not resolved promptly and I did not receive clear written confirmation.

For the price paid, the cleanliness, maintenance and complaint handling fell far below expectations. Future guests should carefully consider this before booking. Even the dryer was broken.

Ok stay - reasonably comfortable but probably won’t stay agai
Pros:

Location good, rooms looking a bit tired - shower needs upgrading. Beds a bit uncomfortable as mattress topper too small for the bed
