EL PICNIC ATITLÁN

Este hotel glamping fue definitivamente una hermosa experiencia; la comida es muy buena, la atención del personal es muy amable y genuina, nuestra habitación era cómoda, hermosa, limpia y perfecta para el descanso. Despertarse con una bella vista a los volcanes y el lago, escuchando el sonido de aves, fue maravilloso; a destacar la amabilidad de Gaby, su esposo y las chicas que están en la pretzelería; todos fueron muy amigables y atentos. ¡¡¡Esperamos volver en otra ocasión!!!

Muy original. Un concepto muy bonito. Las vistas maravillosas. El personal muy atento. El desayuno muy rico. Muy limpio y simpático. Los dueños muy amables. En bote se llega fácil a todos los lugares en el lago.

Our stay at Lake Atitlán was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty—the kind that instantly makes you slow down and appreciate where you are. Waking up to the calm lake and lush greenery each morning felt almost surreal.

The food was an absolute highlight. Every meal was thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor, making it something we genuinely looked forward to each day. Dining in such a peaceful, natural setting made the experience even more special.

What truly set this stay apart was the sense of adventure and excitement woven into the experience—it felt like a bit of a hidden gem, with moments that were surprising, unique, and memorable in the best way.

The space itself was comfortable, well cared for, and perfectly integrated into the surroundings, allowing us to fully disconnect and relax. If you’re looking for a place that combines incredible scenery, delicious food, and a one-of-a-kind experience, this is it. We would absolutely come back.

Heerlijk verblijf met prachtig uitzicht vanuit je bed over lake Atitlan. Super aardige eigenaar en personeel die graag een praatje met je maken. Wij kwamen erg laat aan waardoor de keuken officieel al gesloten was. Alsnog had het personeel een heerlijke warme maaltijd voor ons klaar staan, zodat we niet met een lege maag naar bed hoefde. Echt super!

The atmosphere, privacy, and construction were absolutely stunning. It really felt like a private nature oasis above the lake. The bathroom and shower was perfect and great for taller people. They provided high quality shampoo and conditioner, along with natural loofahs.

The breakfast was tasty and had a nice window of time so you never felt rushed. The owners were very polite and helpful. The stairs people mention were not that bad, and it's a small price for such a great view. We noticed a few bugs, but that is completely expected.

The dinners were tasty as well although not included. Particularly the fajitas were good.

Probably the best accommodation I have stayed in and probably will be for a long time. The glamping tents are great, the views are unbelievable and the owners and staff are so kind and caring. The breakfast with a view and waking up to sunrise and the sounds of birds made this stay so special. The owners are also a great help in organising transport, trips and giving suggestions and advice. 10/10

If you can stay here, definitely do it and book the room that has the best view. You will not be disappointed.

If you are not one to enjoy the sounds of nature nor you aren't comfortable staying at a place that is pretty much 75% open to nature then this isn't the place for you.

This is definitely glamping place and it exceeded all of my expectations. From the personal touches of a very comfortable bed and warm comforter and pillows, to filtered water, organic soap and shampoo, El Picnic Atitílan was the place for me.

The owners are really personable and helpful and extremely communicative. I had some trepidation with my bus arriving on time to make it to the ferry from Panajachel and Gaby assured me that I could take a private boat if I missed the last ferry. Well thank goodness I didn't.

Gaby also arranged for a tuk tuk to come get me because I arrived around 7:40pm after 10.5 hours of traveling.

The vibe is really laid back and quiet. The breakfast and the one dinner I had was quite delicious. Breakfast is included in your stay.

They will accommodate your dietary restrictions as well.

When I return, I will definitely be staying here again because it was such a great experience.

In other words, just stay there.

The setting right on Lake Atitlán was beautiful and peaceful, with incredible views that made it feel really special. The space was clean, comfortable, and had such a relaxing vibe. What stood out the most was how welcoming and attentive the hosts were. They made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. It was the perfect place for our family to unwind and take in the lake. Delicious food and friendly dogs too. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The owners took so much care to provide a unique and comfortable accommodation that was the highlight of our trip. We can't wait to come back! The meals were incredible!!

Sehr spezielle und individuelle Bungalows mit einem ganz besonderem Charme. Keine Türen und Fenster, die die Natur abschirmen, sondern wirklich offen zum See und zur Natur. Toller Blick in sehr entspannter Atmosphäre mit ganz besonderen Gastgebern. Eine absolute Empfehlung! An der Bar würde ich den Don Papa Rustico empfehlen :-)
