Categories

Cleanliness
7
Many guests praised clean rooms, but there are multiple specific complaints about missed room cleaning (including weekend non-refresh and a day missed), so cleanliness is lowered accordingly.
Service
9
Staff repeatedly described as excellent, friendly and accommodating; however there is a serious billing/charge dispute reported with slow resolution, so service is strong overall but marred by a notable failure.
Location
9.5
Location is consistently praised as excellent and very convenient for the Galleria/business area.
Room Quality
9
Rooms noted as very clean with comfortable beds and a functional small kitchenette/separate living area—overall very positive room quality.
Amenities
8.5
Small kitchenette and basic facilities are appreciated and breakfast is good; guest-reported issues with free WiFi being slow or requiring repeated logins reduce the score slightly.
Value for Money
9
Multiple guests called it great value for the location and facilities, citing reasonable price and good overall offerings.
Food and Beverage
8.5
Breakfast described as complete and of good quality; limited additional comments on food/beverage.
Overall Experience
9.9
Overall stays are positive—comfortable rooms, excellent location and staff—but the experience is impacted for some by inconsistent housekeeping and at least one serious billing issue.

Very good option for Galleria - shame about the cleaning
Pros:

Great room setup and very convenient for working remotely also whilst being local to Galleria and central Houston

Cons:

Room cleaning does not happen at weekends. When reception was challenged with this they told me that they only clean check in and check out on Saturdays and Sundays, no room refresh on those days.

Would highly recommend - Great value for money with small kitchenette in the galleria area -
Pros:

Great value in top location. Staybridge suites in Galleria has the perfect location for business activities in the area at a reasonable price and excellent facilities. Very clean and comfortable and they do the basics well with exceptional staff and cleanliness. The small kitchen was functional with separate living room

Cons:

The free WiFi for guests did seem a little slow at times and I had to log in multiple times - I assume if you are a IHG member it wouldn’t be better

Cons:

Stayed here last weekend and honestly thought everything was fine—until I checked my bank account. That’s when I saw they charged my card FOUR extra times, totaling almost $950 in overcharges. Not once, not twice, not three times… FOUR.

Now I’m stuck dealing with the stress of trying to get MY money back. I’ve sent multiple emails and still haven’t gotten my refund or any real help fixing this.

The stay itself was decent, but none of that matters when your account gets hit like this afterward. Be very careful giving this place your debit card or personal information because if something goes wrong, don’t expect a quick resolution. Completely unacceptable.
