Cons:

The property does not issue invoice/OR which exposes it to possible tax violations. Regardless how accommodation is paid(in cash or online) a corresponding invoice should be issued. Without this, there’s a high likelihood of inaccurate income reporting and tax payment. Does this mean, that all income through online bookings are not reported as income to BIR thus correct tax is not paid?

It is highly suggested to the management to revisit its policy on this to avoid unnecessary tax violation and exposure. As someone who’s been working as auditor, this is a red flag and a clear tax compliance issue.

It would help to refer to recent BIR Revenue Memorandum Order No. 43-2022 and Ease of Paying Taxes Act (EOPT) Act. Where obligation to issue invoice or receipt is mandated without a need for request.

Every time you would need staff to talk to,you need to get down. There was only 2 electrical outlet for to use which is

Staff are courteous.

Cons:

We were in the Suite Room, however there was no telephone, no soap,no shampoo, outlet for charger very far from the beds.

Ok for an overnight stay on a budget.
Pros:

The hotel within the city and is easy to find. Wifi is working. Room is clean and the lift is also working. They have food for room service and they have free brewed coffee by the entrance in the morning (I think you can still get one even if you are not having breakfast).

Cons:

There was a construction going on and it would be great if they can allocate a safe and presentable space for guests to get in and out of the hotel. Staff should be more conscious in prepping the room as mine did not have any toiletries and slippers although they were responsive when I asked for one.
