Review Highlights

Pros:
Excellent location (near center and zoo)
Friendly, attentive staff
Generally clean rooms and comfortable beds (in many rooms)
Good value / affordable price
On-site pool
Cons:
Breakfast is basic/frugal and limited
Old/uncomfortable mattresses or hard pillows in some rooms
Mosquitoes and reported bedbugs in a few cases
AC not cooling adequately; unstable internet and some TVs not working
Pool cleanliness inconsistent and limited accessibility/reservation options

Categories

Cleanliness
7.5
Mixed reports: many guests praise cleanliness, but multiple mentions of mosquitoes, chinches/bedbugs and an occasionally not-fully-clean pool reduce the score.
Service
9.7
Consistently praised; reception and staff described as very courteous and attentive in many reviews.
Location
9.5
Frequent positive mentions: excellent/very good location, close to center and the zoo; considered a strong point of the hotel.
Room Quality
7.4
Mixed: some rooms described as clean and comfortable, others report old/broken mattresses, small bathrooms, hard pillows and AC that doesn't cool well.
Amenities
7.6
Has a pool and basic amenities, but notes of an unclean pool at times, unstable internet, non-functioning TVs and limited accessibility/options for disabled guests.
Value for Money
8.6
Several guests explicitly call it good value or ‘comfort at an excellent price’, though some feel charged extras (e.g., for a fuller breakfast).
Food and Beverage
6.8
Frequently criticized: breakfast described as frugal/simple/continental with limited options (little protein), leaving guests wanting more.
Overall Experience
9.3
Overall positive impression driven by location and staff; issues with rooms, breakfast and occasional pests temper but do not outweigh positives.
