This was our 3rd time returning to the Pernera area just outside of Protaras and our 1st time staying at Bohemian Gardens. We will definitely be returning to this hotel, it is excellent.
The hotel is absolutely spotlessly clean throughout and the cleaning team never stop. Our 2 rooms were cleaned every day of our 19 day stay with all towels changed daily as well.
We stayed on a half board basis and breakfast and evening meal options were plentiful. The restaurant manager is really pleasant and very welcoming. The staff in the restaurant work so hard and are really friendly which creates a really friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The pool area is fantastic. The sunbeds are so comfortable and there was no need to be getting up early to reserve beds which was amazing! We went down to the pool at roughly 10am every day and had a choice of beds. Whilst we didn’t always eat lunch at the hotel, on the occasions my kids did order food it was fantastic, cooked fresh, large portions and really reasonably priced.
The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect for us. Around a 15 minute to Protaras strip along a beautiful seaside boardwalk and around a 10 minute walk to Pernera in the opposite direction. We were spoilt for choice in terms of restaurants and bars and had some really good nights out!
The only minor improvement that we could suggest would be to add some storage lockers for personal belongings once guests have checked out and have a late pickup.
We loved our stay and will definitely be returning!
Hotel was immaculate. Very modern and stylish. It is located just outside protaras which is a quick taxi takes approx 5 mins. Taxi cost 18 euros for a 7 cab.
There is a bus stop outside hotel. I think it costs 1 or 2 euros
The staff were amazing. They were very efficient and friendly. They went above and beyond. A lovely waitress who served in the snack bar sorry for spelling think her name Kapita ( from Nepal) She made our holiday even more special. She was one of the nicest people we have had serve us whilst on holiday.
The pool area great. The sun beds were plentiful and always got a bed whatever time we went to pool, even though we were there in middle of August. There was also shaded beds.
The food was the best we have had for AI. Breakfast had a good choice. We didn't like the sausage but everything else was great. The usual toast waffles, cereals, porridge, bacon, eggs proper beans, hash browns, fried bread and continental breakfast and fresh fruit and lots of yogurts.
Lunch and dinner was the usual buffet style. We only used this a few times but the salads were so fresh and the cakes were handmade including cheesecakes, tiramasu, apple / plum crumble cakes. They were absolutely delicious 😋 The snack bar was very popular for lunch. On offer was salads, pizzas, burgers, pasta dishes, garlic bread and many more. All served to you and cooked fresh. Never disappointed with any of the meals. Also included was tubs of ice cream available all day and night.
My only negative was the entertainment. The young girl doing the programme was really nice but what was on offer wasn't great.
There are pubs and supermarket within a few mins walk. Turn left out of hotel then first right. This takes you the the Station pub. Karaoke and tribute acts. Great entertainment and great food. Pool tables and child's play area. Next door supermarket.
Walk down couple of mins and nice little beach. You can do watersports from there. There is a great boardwalk which takes you all the way to fig tree bay which is beautiful. The beaches in between were lovely too.
Tip if disabled take blue badge for proof and you can hire sunbeds on beach which are kept free for people with disabilities. Wish I'd known that before we went.
Thank you to everyone at Bohemiam gardens for a great holiday!
Our 3rd time returning to Cyprus as a couple, and once again, our stay was absolutely perfect! We had such a lovely 2-week stay and couldn’t fault the hotel in so many ways.
We stayed in one of the swim-up bungalows for the full 2 weeks, and the room was honestly one of the highlights of our stay. It was beautifully decorated, modern, spacious and, most importantly, spotlessly clean. Everything was kept really tidy and clean throughout our stay, which made the room feel so comfortable and relaxing.
The best selling point for us was definitely having our own private terrace with direct access to the pool. It was such a luxury being able to step straight outside and have our own sunbeds and pool area. The sun hit our sunbeds from around 11:30am and stayed there until around 6pm, which was perfect for spending the afternoon relaxing and getting some sun without having to leave the room. It made such a difference having our own private space rather than having to find sunbeds around the main pool.
We stayed bed and breakfast, and the food was consistently really good. There was a great variety to choose from, with plenty of different options each morning, and everything was always fresh and well presented. We never struggled to find something we fancied, and it was a lovely way to start the day before heading out exploring.
The staff were also lovely from the moment we arrived right through until the end of our stay. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly and helpful, and we always felt well looked after.
As we stayed B&B, we chose to eat out every evening, mainly along the Protaras strip, as there are so many restaurants and bars to choose from. We also ate out a few nights around Pernera, which was another great option and gave us plenty of variety throughout the two weeks. The location was ideal for this, as there were lots of places within easy reach.
The only downside for us was the price of the drinks at the hotel. We tried the drinks one evening and found them quite expensive — two vodkas with lemonade cost us €20! We definitely found it much cheaper to buy our own drinks from the shop down the road or head out to one of the local bars, where you get much better value for money.
Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would happily return again.
This is a very honest review, have just returned from a 2 week stay at Bohemian Gardens.
Firstly all the staff work extremely hard and the hotel is spotless throughout.
The pool area is lovely my understanding is it was upgraded for this year, however there is only one set of steps into the pool, so to enter/exit the pool if you are near the bar you have to walk round the other side of the pool, a lot of people were saying that another set of steps are needed near the bar area and im inclined to agree, it certainly would make sense to have an additional set of steps. Aaahhhh the sunbeds pure bliss is all I can say, they are plentiful and so comfy, you could get a bed at any time of the day.
Food was good, breakfast was good, fresh omelettes cooked whilst you waited, plenty of choice from cooked breakfast to cereal to fruit etc.
We never ate at lunchtime as we weren't hungry.
Evening meal there was plenty of variety and you could always put a meal together.
There is one major thing that let's the restaurant down and that is the Europeans, they smoke whilst people are trying to eat, they waft and blow the smoke around, which quite frankly is rude, come on Bohemian Gardens make the restaurant non smoking, we left our evening meal a few times for this reasons, this next one isn't the hotels fault but the Europeans are so rude in the restaurant as well as barging past you, then not acknowledging that they didnt wait, then there's the chairs they would sit so far out that their chair would hit yours and then they would leave their chairs out once finished so you couldn't move.
Bar staff very good found a new cocktail ask the barman for crushed lime, cheap malibu, sprite and ice to die for.
The one thing that really let's the hotel down is the entertainment, yes the two round girls work hard, but the quizzes and bingo take too long and they are very hard to understand when speaking on the mic, there are a couple of good singers that come in, then there's perfect harmony (i think that is there name), they need to work on their act.
Water aerobics was very entertaining for the men, its a wonder the girl didn't do herself an injury.
All in all we had a great holiday, weather was perfect, would we return to Bohemian Gardens............. yes but improvements need to be made.
Poli kali topothesia kai pentakatharo!!!! Tha ksanapigena sigoura!!
I simply cannot recommend this hotel highly enough from front desk to bar and restaurant staff they are all amazing. The hotel should be rated far higher than it is. Stayed inI a swin up room which was fabulous. The food from breakfast to evening meal was spoilt for choice. The changes made to this hotel every year cease to amaze us as this was our fourth visit this year pool flooring was all changed to non slip and the luxury sunbeds and pods around the pool were stunning. This hotel is spotlessly clean and I mean everywhere down to toilets pool area and bar facilities. The cleaning staff work non stop to keep the place looking immaculate. We are so looking forward to returning next year shout out to androniki front of desk, andreas and evalena bar staff and all the waters and waitresses who I can't remember all the names thank you for making our stay yet another fabulous holiday.xx
We have just returned from a lovely two weeks at the Bohemian Gardens Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. Family had a swim up bungalow and we stayed in the hotel on the 6th floor. The views were great, the bungalow was amazing especially for the family, it was lovely to be able to spend time with them in there pool. The hotel was spotless and the staff work tirelessly to keep guests happy and always with a smile on their faces , they are all very polite we could not fault them at all. The pool area is lovely with more than enough sunbeds for everyone. The breakfast was very good with a range of food to suit everyone's taste. Overall it was a lovely stay and would definitely recommend. Thank you to all the staff at Bohemian Gardens.
We have just returned from our stay and overall had a great holiday. The hotel itself is very good, and we would happily return in the future.
The rooms were of a very good standard and the hotel was clean throughout. Housekeeping did an excellent job, and the location was also great, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding area.
The main area that needs improvement is the entertainment. The children's entertainment was disappointing. Although the kids' disco was scheduled every evening, we often had to ask for it to be started. A special mention goes to Kabita, who was fantastic with the children. She brought energy and enthusiasm with the kids and we'd love to see her given a bigger role within the entertainment team.
The daytime pool entertainment was also lacking. There was very little energy or interaction, which isn't what you would normally expect from an all-inclusive hotel. A more enthusiastic entertainment programme would make a huge difference to the overall guest experience.
The food was a little inconsistent. Some meals were excellent, while others were less impressive, so this is another area where a little more consistency would help.
Despite these points, we genuinely had a wonderful time. The positives far outweighed the negatives, and with a few improvements to the entertainment and dining experience, this hotel could be exceptional. We would definitely consider returning and would recommend it to others.
This is our third visit to Bohemian Gardens, we have been coming to this hotel since 2023 and can't fault it, the hotel has gone through some added renovations throughout the last 3 years which has only made it better. The staff are all so very friendly and the hotels cleanliness is by far the best we've experienced in Cyprus (we've being coming to Cyprus since 2010 almost every other year staying at various regions resorts) . The personal touch of a welcome back card with fresh fruit and wine in our hotel room didn't go unnoticed either. You can really tell their customer service is impeccable. We only book bed and breakfast as we like to explore Protaras/Pernera so can only comment on breakfast, it is always laid out very well, fresh and with plenty selection. For us the location of the Hotel is perfect..5 mins walk to the beach and 10 - 15 min walk from the main strip in Protaras. Can't wait to return and hopefully book the swim up suites next time..
Visited April 2026 and so impressed with all areas of the hotel, we returned July 26, a family of 3 adults & 2 kids. Rooms very modern and cleaned/towels changed on almost a daily basis, pool and garden areas well maintained and spacious with plenty of sun-beds so no reserving required. Lovely shady cabanas available too free of charge. Hotel and grounds very well maintained and any issue sorted immediately (had problem with room safe which was sorted as soon as reported) and towel hire was a bonus (small deposit) can be changed as often as required. We were bed & breakfast, but plenty of food choices, restaurant can get busy so early morning recommended. Hotel is in a good central location and I would definitely return again
We’ve just spent two amazing weeks at the Bohemian Gardens Hotel on an all-inclusive holiday, and I honestly can’t speak highly enough of it.
The food has been absolutely fantastic, with something different every night and so much choice that there’s always something for everyone. Every meal has been delicious, and it’s one of the best all-inclusive food experiences we’ve had.
What really makes this hotel special is the staff. Every single member of the team has been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel like part of the family from the moment we arrived. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and their kindness has made our holiday even more memorable.
A very special mention goes to Demetrius in the restaurant. He was absolutely amazing every single time we saw him. He always greeted us with a smile, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and genuinely made every meal even more enjoyable. He is a real credit to the hotel.
Our room has been perfect, and the housekeeping has been to an exceptionally high standard, keeping everything spotless throughout our stay.
We’ve had such a wonderful time that we’ve already priced up our holiday for next year—and we can’t wait to come back! We would highly, highly, highly recommend the Bohemian Gardens Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, friendly, and unforgettable holiday. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so special. See you next year!
100% honest review.
Been here 4 years ago and hotel have made a lot of adjustments and refurb. Decor and cleanliness is wonderful. This is tips for people who wish to come here.
* if you want a late check out? Forget it. Travelling with a child with disabilities and they didn't make an exception. (The hotel is not full)
* They have a custom room for showering on departure however no towels you have to provide your own or hire them from reception.
* 1 plug available in reception for charging your phone. This is not good enough considering the amount of guets in the hotel.
* restaurant and pool area nowhere near big enough for the amount of guests staying at the hotel, there are enough sun loungers though.
*people paying extra for swim up bungalows can only use their pool up until 630 pm if you want to swim at night, you cant. So dont see the point of paying 800 pound extra for this.
Some of reception staff are rude when asking question if their answer is no then they dont provide you with advice for an alternative.
I love Cyprus but wont be returning here although the hotel has pros there are too much cons
Stayed here July 26 for 12 nights, rooms are stylish and very clean.
Towels changed daily.
Most of the staff friendly, but some very rude!
Beach towels can be rented for €10 each and changed daily, you get the €10 bk at the end of the trip.
Couples of negatives, safe has to be paid for around €2.50 a day.
A couple of bills at the end of our stay on our room which were not ours, taken off after discussions with reception.
Food, breakfast was ok, just your normal buffet. Evening meal not the best, hit & miss. Ended up eating out towards the end of the holiday.
Would defo return to this hotel even if it’s just for the rooms & comfy sun-beds.
Hotel amazing staff very friendly. Cleaning was outstanding all around hotel. We stayed in one of the swim up bungalows and our cleaner for whole 2 weeks was outstanding and so friendly always smiling and always said hello, a big shout out to her. The night bar man was amazing always had a smile on his face and , would fill my ice pack up every night for me with ice. We only stayed B&B and breakfast was amazing loved the fresh made omelettes.while there was my birthday and received a plate of fruit & wine which I thought was a very nice thought and completed my special day thankyou. Main pool area very clean no fighting for sunbeds even though we didn’t use that as had swim up bungalow, food at bar for snacks was lovely.
Yes we will be coming back to this hotel we are looking to book again.
