Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at Lava in Samoa. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was outstanding—especially the delicious supo esi for breakfast. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable. I highly recommend Lava and look forward to coming back 👌🏽

I loved the big open foyer, bar and seating area but bathrooms were small and pool access awkward.
Pros:

Loved the very contemporary open entrance foyer, bar, seating and dining area which had a very welcoming, relaxed and comfortable ambiance. Great for meeting up with friends and family. The breeze coming through was lovely. I would stay here again for this alone. Food great. Staff and cleanliness excellent.

Cons:

Three things: 1. The room was just a bit small and the bathroom was too small and cramped. 2. Access to the pool from your room was awkward. At first it seemed you had to walk right through the dining area. It was not until my third day I realized I could reach the pool through a passage beside the lift. This was not obvious or signposted. It needed to be well signed. At other hotels it is really nice to be able to go almost directly from your room to the pool. 3. Finally there was no gym.

Great hotel in good location with everything you need.
Pros:

Great location close to town and staff very helpful. Lovely big King size bed so slept well and very quiet.

Rooms quite small but fine for a couple of nights

Cons:

The only issue with the hotel is there are only 6 sun loungers around the pool and 6 chairs around the pool. On some days no one was at the pool so this was fine, however on other days there were not enough chairs for guests. Considering the size of the hotel it definitely needs more seating options round the pool

My stay was very good overall in terms of the facilities the lobby and eating area was breezy
Pros:

Breakfast good first day, and then mostly the same everyday. like the tropical fruits: papaya, apple bananas. like the oatmeal/porridge. like the cooked flat pancakes, but often cold. the warmers, chafing dishes where candles burned out and were not checked. replenishing the food could have been monitored better so these are done more efficiently.

Cons:

that the hot food baked beans, spaghetti or sausages was usually lukewarm, not heated properly, they get cold from the strong commercial fans. insects were still able to get onto the food platters
oatmeal or cocorice often cold not hot enough to make eating enjoyable. would have liked more tropical fruits

It a place I come back to!
Pros:

The location was great, handy to Apia and shopping, good bed and excellent food, and reasonably priced

Cons:

They needed to restock the tea and coffee in the rooms daily, has we had 4 nights and weren’t replaced! So was taking from our other rooms that didn’t use there’s .
