Pretty poor. University digs would be better and more spacious. Lifts not working, tele in lounge had a technical fault, bar had run out of white wine at 6.30pm on a Saturday night. Car park a good hike away.
Nice hotel good space and pool table down stairs
It was hot the air conditioning could be improved
Clean quiet comfy bed
Clean and cheap
No parking on site
Centrally located, good value.
Nothing
I didn't eat breakfast because I wanted to get away early but the breakfast layout was amazing. Someone had really worked hard to make it look and feel really nice. The bar and restaurant was really well thought out and very welcoming. The flavours, presentation and range was well beyond what I expected. I'll definer stay here again now I know how everything works.
I've reached that age where little things are irritating because it feels like I'm being taken advantage of. The price you charge for bottled drinks and chocolate is just rude. This seems to be a trend every retailer is adopting and is part of a wider problem of shite confectionary and shrinkflation. The price of breakfast is really reasonable too but to be challenged in front of the entire room like a shoplifter asking "have you paid for breakfast" as I tucked into one slice of toast was really jarring. Just charge everyone for breakfast 🤷♀️ Id stayed at the Holiday Inn for two nights in Birmingham the day before and breakfast was part of the price. I didn't realise it was separate. It was booked weeks ago. Not having a car park at the site was just weird.
Clean bed and clean bathroom.
Room was small but it was a budget hotel. Although they mentioned parking available but we had to park in the car park and 5 -8 minutes walk. I was only notified after booking the hotel.
