I would come back to Meander
Pros:

Loved the voucher and partner restaurant system. Liked mingling a bit with other guests in the lobby kitchen. The unique things like the co-working space and the slide (my hubby and I actually slid down) made our trip more memorable. The very central location allowed us to walk to Book Street and Ben Thanh. The neighborhood itself has a lot of choices just behind us - a lovely Every Half Cafe, the 7Bridges craft beer place. Also discovered Heart of Darkness and a really lovely resto One River along the road from Meander.

Definitely would recommend!
Pros:

Very good value for money, a hostel that feels a bit more luxurious. The beds were so comfortable, slept 11 hours on my first night! It was very quiet as well inside the dorm and the air conditioning was much appreciated. Staff was also full of recommendations for the city.

Very clean, quiet, well designed. Them having locations in Taiwan and Japan absolutely makes sense. Staff were helpful. amazing hostel overall.

Cons:

Isn't located on the main touristy strip - I knew it when I booked it so its not really and issue, but I ended up taking many grab rides to and from the benh tan area. Is not a social hostel at all - i didn't meet anyone at all my entire stay.

Great place to stay in District 1, HCMC.
Pros:

The property has a minimalist design. The bed is comfortable and has ample room in storing your things in addition to your assigned locker.

Cons:

The Wi-Fi connection keeps on disconnecting when inside the room. We hope that improving the connection by adding more access points and SSIDs on each floor.
