Sunset Beach Resort & Spa felt like one of those places where you just slow down without trying. I really liked that the beach is literally right in front, so I could just walk out anytime and sit by the water, especially during sunset. The breakfast was another highlight for me, since there were actually good options and not just basic stuff. Overall, it just felt easy, peaceful, and worth it for the price.
We had a wonderful holiday. The staff assigned us a room with a partial sea view, which was still very beautiful. The breakfast was impressive, with many fresh and delicious dishes every day. The staff were very enthusiastic; they asked us how the meal was, and when we pointed out something, they resolved it immediately. I was given a small birthday cake upon check-in, which was very heartwarming. The fire dance performance in the evening was a fantastic highlight.
A fantastic place to stay, convenient location, delicious breakfast, convenient access to the beach and pool. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and there's a special fire dance show every evening. This is a place worth staying at.

The service was excellent – the customer service staff proactively checked in on our experience. Nous avions réservé une chambre avec vue directe sur la piscine pour nos vacances en famille. Le petit-déjeuner buffet était un vrai régal : chaque matin, un large choix était proposé, y compris des options végétariennes et bien d’autres mets délicieux. Le service était particulièrement remarquable : on nous a demandé notre avis pendant le petit-déjeuner et, lorsque nous avons signalé un petit problème, il a été immédiatement réglé avec une grande efficacité. Le spectacle de feu en soirée était très divertissant et il y a de nombreux restaurants ainsi qu’un spa à proximité. Le seul petit bémol était la faible pression de l’eau, mais sinon, tout était quasiment parfait!
Overall, this hotel offers great value for the price. We stayed in the B Wing Connected Room, which was spacious and perfect for our family of four, with a nice garden view and a private bathroom for each room.

When we first entered the room, there was a slight smell of humidity, but the hotel provided a dehumidifier that we kept running for 24 hours, and the smell completely disappeared.
We requested an iron, and it was delivered quickly, although there was no ironing board.
The only downside was the mosquitoes, so I recommend bringing mosquito repellent.

If you only have one night in Phu Quoc, choose this place. The feeling of sitting at a buffet breakfast right by the beach, with the wind blowing and the ocean view, is truly relaxing. The food is diverse and high-quality. The resort's pool is also very clean and has a beautiful view for taking photos. The housekeeping service is excellent, and the reception staff are professional and friendly.
Even though we only stayed one night, the beachfront dining experience with its stunning ocean views completely won us over. The food was delicious, and the room service was quick and attentive. The next morning, we were pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of delicious dishes at the buffet.
I chose this resort for my last night in Phu Quoc and was completely satisfied. The beachfront location was beautiful, and the check-in and check-out process was quick and easy, allowing me to catch my flight on time. In the evening, I even got to watch a spectacular fire dance show right on the beach, a short but extremely memorable experience.
A fantastic night's stay! The hotel offers a free and very thoughtful airport shuttle service, making our short trip stress-free. The staff, from the reception desk to the driver, were all welcoming and always proactively assisted with a smile. Excellent value for money!
It's incredibly relaxing yet full of fun activities. We loved waking up in a spotlessly clean room thanks to the excellent housekeeping staff, enjoying a peaceful breakfast overlooking the sea, and relaxing by the expansive pool. The lively music at sunset added to the magical atmosphere. The management has created a truly special place.
Nous n’avons passé que 24 heures à Phu Quoc, mais nos vacances en famille au Sunset Beach Resort ont été absolument parfaites grâce au service de transfert depuis l’aéroport, extrêmement ponctuel et professionnel. La chambre était spacieuse, propre et très confortable, et les lits de grande qualité ont permis à toute la famille de bien se reposer après le voyage. Un autre point fort a été le buffet du petit-déjeuner, qui proposait un large choix de plats pour tous les goûts, y compris des options végétariennes légères et délicieuses. Ce court séjour a été très agréable et nous a laissé d’excellents souvenirs.
Breakfast is fantastic, but dinner is where the real magic happens. The chefs here are true artists; the beef and sushi dishes are absolute masterpieces of flavor and presentation. Enjoying these delicacies on the beach while watching a spectacular fire show is an unforgettable experience. Combine that with spacious ocean-view rooms and top-notch staff, and you have the perfect resort.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was exceptional with large balcony overlooking the pool and beach.
Opening times of the pool. The beach bar offers very restricted drinks in the evening. Minimum beer order 6 bottles. Wine only by bottle. Very restricted cocktail offers. Not even gin and tonic. Was really only catering for groups, not couples. Staff did not - or wanted not - speak English. The same bar was great for lunch. Different staff, super friendly and great drinks menue.
If you value a spacious, clean room, then this is the place for you. Our room was much larger than a standard double room and had a comfortable balcony. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job every morning, making the bed beautifully and keeping everything spotless. This allowed us to completely relax and enjoy the resort's wonderful amenities, such as live music at sunset and the beachfront pool.
We spent most of our time outdoors, enjoying the resort's spectacular design. Breakfast on the balcony with panoramic sea views was the perfect way to start the day. In the evening, there were some very impressive fire dance performances, and the reception staff even gave us a small birthday cake for my friend, which we were very impressed with.
