Pros:

The hotel is newly built, even though pretty basic and nothing special. The room was reasonably comfortable. The car parking was good.

A disappointment.

Upon our arrival at about 8 p.m., we (obviously) wanted to have dinner. There were free tables in the restaurant, and it did not even look particularly busy. However the staff members told us they could not accommodate us because "the kitchen is out of capacity", whatever it meant. When I complained, front office manager Elsa and her colleague John were not impressed and suggested we had to go elsewhere.

Here we were, at 8-30 p.m., tired and hungry after a whole day of getting to Faroe Islands, with heavy rain outside, in a hotel in the middle of nowhere. Quite literally, the hotel is located in a remote industrial area with nothing in vicinity.

Fast forward a couple of days, the hotel staff have proven themselves to be unqualified, unwelcoming and, in my opinion, not fit for the job. Also, for whatever reason, they only do room service every other day as if they were 2* motel rather than a crazy expensive 4* Hilton. The cherry on top is that the sauna and jacuzzi are not included and come at an extra price.

Honestly, at 450 EUR per day, I stayed at much better hotels in London, New York and Paris, let alone many other places. Charging that much for a basic (and deeply flawed) hotel in the outskirts of Torshavn is simply outrageous.

Very nine hotel with very friendly staff.
Pros:

Very nice room with mountain and city/green view.worth the slightly higher room rate.
Excellent breakfast.
Enjoyed the daily complimentary drink during happy hour.
Nice gym facilities.

very quiet place. Restaurant was nice for breakfast and dinner. Nice staff, especially for breakfast.

Cons:

The room has not been cleaned for 2 days. Normal for the first day since the cleaning is done every 2 days that unacceptable for the standards of a Hilton Hotel. The second day, they forgot. you must book for dinner. The restaurant does not get the priority to the clients. shocking. The staff is nice except at the reception. Hard tto get information. even one person very rude. They don't mind the clients at all. I guess there is a lack of management and good manager.
