Great venue, food fantastic, view amazing, retrain your reception staff to be more welcoming

Cons:

When I went to check in they said my room wasn't ready. The occupancy wasn't that high. So, to not inconvenience the reception they chose to inconvenience. Then wasn't able to check in till 3.15. The rest of my stay was great. Staff were very welcoming. Except EXCEPT the two ladies at check in who were very unwelcoming

Pros:

Für eigentlich eine gute Woche auf den Färöer buchte ich das Hilton. Ich hatte ein sehr großes Zimmer (behindertengerecht) mit Blick auf ein Industriegebiet. Bei geschlossenem Fenster hört man nichts von der Straße. Alle Bereiche sind recht sauber. Bis auf die Couch in meinem Zimmer, hier zeigte sich fragwürdige Flecken. Bett ist sehr bequem, Sanitäreinrichtungen ok. Fernseher auch recht gut. Aber nur 2 englische Sender ein bisschen wenig in einem Haus welches internationale Gäste beherbergt. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, bis auf den Restaurantchef. Ich versuchte an einem Abend einen Platz im Restaurant zu bekommen. Dieser Wunsch wurde mit Hinweis auf „ausgebucht“ abgelehnt. Mein Besuch am Abend in der Bar hingegen zeigte allerdings etliche freie Tische. Ich musste leider vorzeitig abreisen, auch hier null Kompromisse, ich musste den gebuchten Aufenthalt komplett begleichen. So bindet man keine Kunden und ich habe das schon anders erlebt. Zu guter Letzt, Frühstück, wenn nicht includiert, 35Euro für einen Gast im Haus, das nennt man Abzocke.

Cons:

Preise für Verpflegung. Kulanz bei ungeplanter Abreise.

Gutes, aber teures Hotel mit eigenen Vorstellungen von Kulanz.
Pros:

Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Obwohl etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums gelegen, gut erschlossen mit Gratisbus.

Cons:

Gebucht für eine Gruppe von 14 Personen im Frühjahr für einen Aufenthalt von 4 Nächten im August, musste ein Einezelzimmer wegen medizinischen Gründen annulliert werden. Leider wurden die Kosten dieses Zimmers nicht rückerstattet, da angeblich so gebucht wurde. Generell sind die Preise überteuert. Und wenn man das Problem der nicht gewährten Kulanz hinzunimmt, kann ich das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

The hotel was nice good location

Cons:

I had a very disappointing payment experience. After I had fully paid for my stay, the hotel attempted to charge my card three separate times. This caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience.

Excellent breakfast & clean room
Pros:

Excellent healthy breakfast, with different varieties, the most important of the day before hiking. The room is clean and the gym has the basic equipments needed. The sandwiches, salad & drinks for lunch hiking is very appreciated
