Our stay was very disappointing

Our stay was very disappointing.

The room was extremely noisy because the TV from the sports bar was located right near our door, and there appeared to be little to no soundproofing. There was also a function being held at the venue, with loud noise continuing throughout the night until around 1:00 am. We had to get up early the next morning for a long drive back to NSW, so this made it very difficult to get any rest. We were only informed about the function by phone the day before our stay and were not offered any alternative room, compensation, or other option.

The bathroom was also disappointing. The shower water temperature constantly fluctuated between freezing cold and scalding hot, making it difficult to use. There was virtually no soundproofing.

Cleanliness was also an issue. Two of the coffee cups in our room still had dried liquid residue around the rims, which was unhygienic and gave the impression that they hadn't been properly cleaned.

Overall, the hotel seemed more suited to people staying after a night of drinking than to guests looking for a comfortable and quiet night's sleep. Based on our experience, I don't think it should be advertised as suitable for those seeking a relaxing stay.

Great place to stay providing you are young and not infuriated or disabled in any way.
Pros:

Great staff, plenty of parking, clean rooms, great meals. Great sports bar

Cons:

All the units are upstairs and no lift. No microwave

We loved the location as we were having a family luncheon in the bistro.

Rooms above the sports bar so quite noisy on Saturday night but wasn’t too bad.
