Great hotel! Excellent location in a quiet residential neighborhood, while still being within walking distance of Dotonbori, the metro, and Nankai railway station. The rooms are spacious (especially after Tokyo 😄), functional, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The bedding is excellent. The front desk staff are incredibly polite, professional, and genuinely fun to interact with. The breakfasts are fantastic, and the pastries, especially the croissants - deserve a special mention. Just around the corner, there’s a local bar called Porori, a great place to unwind with a couple of drinks and have a fun chat with Toshi, the friendly bartender.

Pros:

Very clean and nicely designed room, with good lighting and a lovely view. The beds and linen were very comfortable. The location is good, although it’s about a 10-minute walk to the metro.

Cons:

The staff were friendly, although there was a bit of confusion around the room bookings and the luggage we had sent ahead. Check-in also took longer than expected. The room itself was on the smaller side, with limited space for clothes.

The location was within minutes walk of restaurants, convenience stores, shops and train stations.
Pros:

We didn't have breakfast. The location was close to a huge selection of restaurants and train stations. There were a couple of convenience stores close by.

Cons:

The smoking room was not regularly cleaned and the ventilation was poor.
