Worth paying that bit extra for the location, service and facilities.
Pros:

Great central location. Rooftop pool and terrace great for relaxing and amazing views. Perfect for a short break. Staff were so helpful both before and during my stay.

Cons:

Everything was great. Couldn’t fault anything.

Poor stay - pool hours and other issues
Pros:

was centrally located

Cons:

- Breakfast variety: very poor selection, especially continental breakfast and cold cuts, etc
- Was put in a corner disabled room
- Pool very small - very few sun loungers
- you can NOT use the pool before 10:30 as breakfast is served in the restaurant beside it (hottest time of the day). NOT good at all, expecially with the strony heat there
- music played in lounge ara till late and you can hear in the rooms - with no one there
- one evening we forgot our key and NO one at reception at 22:53 - NO one came for 20 mns -, no one answering phone or the ~ WhatsApp messaging service they had for problems~ had to go to the rest on 7th floor to get a manager - In an EMERGENCY what would happen - Reception by law MUST be manned 24 hr

Exceptionnel
Pros:

Nous avons beaucoup aimé le fait que l’hôtel est idéalement placé pour visiter la Valette. Les 2 restaurants sont très bien, la piscine en fin de journée est très agréable et le petit déjeuner est presque parfait ! Un grand bravo a Cliff et Rogers pour leur service impeccable.

Cons:

1- Le lit semblait un peu vieux donc plutôt mou
2- Dans la chambre 502 on entend beaucoup le bruit des pompes a chaleurs qui sont au 7 eme
3- il manque quelques transats au bord de la piscine
4- Un plus grand choix de charcuterie au petit déjeuner serait un vrai plus

Ideal location, friendly staff and wonderful rooftop views
Pros:

The staff were wonderful - friendly, polite and very helpful - shout out to Etienne and Abeer.
The breakfast was very good with a good selection constantly replenished.
The rooftop restaurant/pool/sundeck must be envied by all other hotels - great facility and wonderful views. The hotel itself is well located and all the sights are walkable.

Cons:

Unfortunately we experienced a power cut on our first night in the middle of the night which was rather worrying as the room was pitch black - but normal order was restored by morning.
We also had problems with the hot water and shower for most of our stay with no hot water at all on last day of our stay - apparently the 6th floor had a maintenance issue. A shame that it slightly tainted our stay, but we received an apology and compensation from the customer relations which( was appreciated. ( Would definitely stay again if returning to Valletta.)
