Location was perfect and beds were extremely comfortable.
The security deposit only had a contactless card option, not a pin option, which did cause issues when needing to reactivate my credit card. Had to pay via debit card which included an additional fee.

The fee for parking. We are Hyatt members as well, $69 is a little steep for hotel guests. Also if you lose your valet tickets it’s actually cheeper, make sense of that

Just finished a stay at the Hyatt Centric Rittenhouse Square. It was good for a girls' trip. I booked a 2-queen room on points. When we checked in, there was no mention of my Explorist status or any extras, but so it goes! It’s a great location close to restaurants, shopping, and public transit. It’s also very clean! Love that the floors are wood/ laminate and not carpet.
The parking situation was a mess. It’s $70 including tax, and the valet is so impacted it takes 30+ minutes to get your car. They’re so disorganized. So, we parked across the street the rest of the nights and it was marginally better.
Beds were comfy (on the softer side). These newer hotels have those sliding bathroom doors that I’m not fond of. The toilet was in a separate room from the rest of the bathroom, which was nice since we were a group of four women, but strange because the toilet room didn’t have a sink, so you had to go across to the other bathroom to wash your hands anyway. Both sides of the bathroom used barn doors, and a trash can was noticeably absent from the sink/shower side.
The shower was great and very well designed. There was a small fridge and a couple of drawers for storage. Closet space was minimal and open from the side. Overall, it’s clean and centrally located. Definitely not a luxury stay, but great for what we needed. I prefer the Bellevue down the street.
My breakfast experience at this hotel was very disappointing. I ordered coffee and eggs at 7:00 am. Around 7:10 I received the coffee. 20 minutes later (7:30) my eggs hadn’t arrived (but multiple tables around me who had ordered after I had were served. )
When I asked for about the 3rd time, a server went to a table that he had recently served and picked up the eggs from their table and brought the plate to me.
I politely declined and askedfor my check. (I had now been waiting nearly 40 minutes).
It took another 5 minutes to get the check for the coffee. The rest of my stay was fine, however this one incident spoiled my experience
